A Few Things

Wanted to share a few things!

This combo is SO good. Add an avocado and even better!

I had zero high noons a few weeks ago so half of this is staying here and half is going to the beach. I'll be good for awhile but I do like to share with friends!

My favorite method smell! Had to order from Target but worth the wait!

Grady's Celebration

Last Thursday on our way to her swim, she decorated the rock in front of their school! She does it for me for him every year. We don't pay for rocks to be painted like a lot of people do. They're so fun to do them ourselves! He was excited on Friday morning with the rock!

Birthday presents - he got Camp stuff, a baseball bat and fishing rod from us and Orioles tickets from my parents!

He was THRILLED with his new "pencil" bat!

She put this big set together for him that Papa G gave him! We went out for hibachi since baseball got rained out. It was fun!

It was a good day for our buddy boy!

Weekend

It was a nice weekend. I do not love Mother's Day weekend for a variety of reasons if I'm being real honest. The kids made me the nicest cards and they were so cute! Here are some pics.

Got to play pickleball with some friends.

Grady had an early morning game on Saturday and Kevin took Molly Anne to her game at the same time. I took mom-mosas to the ball field for my friends! And Dunkin of course. My friend Brittany did it last year and I thought it was so cute!

I took the kids to the neighborhood pool. It was 72 degrees outside and probably about the same in the pool. They're nuts!

He always is watching and knows where I am.

On Sunday we went to church then to the club for brunch. It was super nice this year and I enjoyed it. They had a flower shop for the kids to pick out flowers for us!

Grady is 7!

Today is Grady's 7th birthday. It's truly hard to believe! I remember, like it was yesterday, sitting on our back porch with my Dad and Molly Anne eating breakfast before Kevin and I went to the hospital to have him! Ahhh! Grady is such a good boy! Here are some fun things about him right now:

1. He LOVES and loves hard. He loves his family with all of his heart. He sort of has a tender heart but he's not wimpy if that makes sense. He's always trying to make us happy!
2. He and Molly Anne are TIGHT! I feel like I say this every year, but they are. They still fight every now and then but not very often. He idolizes her.
3. He's a big breakfast and dinner eater but doesn't have much for lunch. He can put down some food. Eats double what Molly Anne does every meal.
4. He still requires quite a bit of sleep. 7pm-6:15am on school nights. If he's up late a night or two during the week, he will still nap on the weekends if I ask him to. He always needs it.
5. Baseball is sport #1 for him! He likes to swim and play tennis too. He loves basketball, soccer and football. Basically he likes all sports and could live outside.
6. I personally think he's a good boy. I've seen him when he doesn't know I'm watching and I've witnessed some good stuff. I always praise him later.
7. He is easy going. He doesn't need or want much of anything toy related. He just kinda goes with the flow.
8. Yep, he's a mama's boy. He is always up for an errand or to go anywhere with me. He still hates when I travel for work. And he still hates when I have a girls night. But he always says he knows I have to do those things and he will see me later!
9. Size 8 clothes, youth medium, size 2.5 shoe (almost same as Molly Anne).
10. I better like his wife and he better live close to me FOREVER! ;)

Randoms

We had a nice weekend. I got to hang out with some friends late Friday while the kids played at the playground. That was fun and much needed. Also got to play a little pickleball. Tennis > pickleball. But it's still all fun!

Field hockey game happened and they won. The storm came right when the baseball game was about to start! That was an adventure.

Kevin went out with some guy friends from high school and a few other friends didn't have their people for random reasons so we all went out for Mexican! funny!

As you can tell, Mills is getting lots of attention.

Well, I don't have any flowers planted yet. I forgot candles for Grady's cake this past weekend. I need to wash towels. We don't have a trip planned at all that we are going on very soon. But... my couch slip covers are clean and my kids will be fed decent dinners this week. Can't win them all!
