Four on Friday

ONE:
Got to play tennis on Tuesday night at a local club, Raintree, where my friend plays. She was sweet to come over and watch after her match. Hi Heather! :)

TWO:
Two peas in a little pod...they were walking out of dance like this and so cute arguing about who loves who the most! May they always do this!!!

THREE:
Who else learned how to braid when they were younger from their American Girl dolls?!

FOUR:
When you and your coworker dress alike by accident one day, it creates quite the stir in the office. Then you decide it would be hilarious to do it on purpose and really mess with the guys minds!! We laughed so hard about this all week. It’s the little things people!

Randoms

Have some randoms for y’all today!

Same size dress. Makes me insanely crazy that the cotton one shrunk so much. The one underneath is more of a slinky material. I emailed Lilly and haven’t heard back. Grrrr.

On Sunday I felt like a complete spazz with all of the things. When I get like that it’s best for me to MAKE A LIST! Gosh when I make a list and get going on doing the tasks, I love checking things off. Sometimes I think making a list is a waste of time because I should use that time to knock a task out but on Sunday I had too much in my head. As you can see, it’s nothing pretty and I had to hide some last names but it’s something that made me feel a lot better. I put it in my Notes on my phone then copied and pasted to a word document to print out.

Another thing I’ve been doing is before the month ends, I’ll make a list of all of the gifts I need to buy for the next month. This really helps keep things together in my life ha! Between kids birthday parties for friends and then my friends and family etc, it’s a lot of extra brain power that I do not have. Work takes 95% of my mental capacity during the week. Zaps me!! Organization of home life is essential.

Well this is switching gears but I just saw this PJ Margarita picture in my camera roll from when we went to Sharkys last week. If you go there in Ocean Isle, get this drink. You can thank me later!

That’s it for today friends. I need to do some laundry because I have done any since the beach on Saturday. Good times but reality at the beginning of the week!

Rest of Spring Break

Friday we did a little beach time midday then went back home and messed around the dock and yard.

Is there anything better than a PB&J on the beach? Well yes, a high noon but who is counting!

The makings of….crab cakes with eastern shore of Maryland crabmeat!!

Kevin is happy fishing! Good for his busy mind!

Kevin went home after dinner because he had plans with some friends in Charlotte on Saturday. My parents and I took the kids go-karting. Molly Anne and Grady LIVE for go-karting. They love it and talk so much trash about who is going to win. Of course Grady and I won, duh!!

They love to fish. Molly Anne has the fishing bug for sure!!

She stayed out there forever Friday night messing around!

While these two played catch! Dad really got him catching the football!

Saturday morning Nannie and Poppa headed home so it was just the kids and I for the next day or so. First up - the beach again! They love it and I love it and it wears them out. Alllll good!

One of their fav parts - Sunset Slush!

We played putt putt after Grady woke up from his nap. They love playing and Miss Molly Anne is quite competitive. Surprise surprise. Zero clue where she gets it from.

Grady ended up falling off his scooter badly on Saturday night when we were playing in the street. Got him cleaned up and we laid low. His poor face looks terrible!

Yesterday morning we decided we were going to take Mills to the beach to play. We had some other errands to run then played at the playground and headed to OIFC for an early lunch. We had a ton to pack up so we didn’t get out of there until a bit later than I wanted to. Grady still napped for two hours on the way home.

We cruised in and regrouped for the week. 6am will be happening early for Molly Anne. She has gotten up at almost 8am every day of Spring Break! Back to reality!

Five on Friday

ONE:
We went back to Pawleys on Tuesday and celebrated my brother’s birthday at Bistro 217. It was good! Hello little people that I love.

TWO:
I love this picture of Mills from a couple of weeks ago. Hey little boy.

THREE:
Lots of scooting, walking and riding bikes to the OIB playground this week!

FOUR:
We had pictures taken on the beach last night and I can’t wait to see them! Kevin snapped this one of my Molly Annie!

Just some randoms from our phones. Can’t wait to see Katie Cooke’s pictures!

Look at Mills!

FIVE:
A few others from this week!

This Week

I think I’m going to wear this dress for family pictures. It’s so much prettier in person than online. This is the same one I posted about last week but I finally got it in!

Love this smocked top! On sale.

I think I need this skirt for tennis.

My coworker told me about this mascara and I really like it. I bought the smaller one to be sure I liked it. The brush is good to get the eye lashes in the outer corner of your eye which I’m not good at doing!

How about some color on this dress for this Summer? I like swing dresses because they give you some shape but hide the rolls!

Easter Day

We had a busy Easter Day! We woke up early to see what the Easter Bunny  (and the Tooth Fairy) brought! So much excitement!

The four of us headed to the Shallotte Presbyterian service on the beach at the Driftwood access. It was really nice and I really enjoyed it.

Silly picture!

We came back and Mom and Dad gave them lots of Easter surprises!

And you know they didn't forget ole Mills!

Then we headed down to Pawleys Island to have lunch with my brother and his family at Pawleys Plantation!

Grady got left with all of the ladies' purses!

My nieces had set up an egg hunt at their house so Molly Anne and Grady LOVED this! And it was an actual hunt, not laying a bunch of eggs out haha!!

My SIL got alllll of the good stuff for the eggs of course! Matchbox cars for Grady, nail polish for MA and soooooo much more.

My brother took Grady for a boat ride after he asked a couple of times!

Tired little boy on the way home! We were lucky enough to bring my nieces back with us for a night which was an extra special treat for us!
