Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana

We are back from a long weekend in the Dominican Republic. If you're looking for an easy place to take your kids, go here. It was great. So much fun during the day (pool, beach and waterpark) and great entertainment at night too (unlike Bahamar). It is all inclusive so you don't have to think about anything! The kids were in heaven! Everyone that works there is sooo nice and accommodating. Truly the best and I see why everyone loves it!

We used a company called DAT to take us to and from the airport. It was easy.

Didn't take long to get right into the pool!

You can kinda see Molly Anne floating too on the right.

Day two - we tried to go fishing but the water was INSANE. We came back to shore. The whole thing did not feel like we thought it should. Sometimes you gotta make the call and we did.

Back at the resort we had plenty to do.

We walked next door to check out Secrets swings

It was soooo hard to get up on those swings. I couldn't do it but Molly Anne finally did!

Grady performing with one of the bands.

They had karaoke the second night and of course they sung! Jiggle Jiggle and Sky Full of Stars

Day three. They have a batting cage on the beach - Grady was stoked! They gave him lots of great tips too.

Lazy river

The view from our room. We had the ocean view suite. It was perfect for us - they had pulled the couch out as well. No more just two double beds for our crew - no one sleeps!

Yesterday, Molly Anne got her hair braided before we left!

Grady and I did one last walk around and got some sand in his souvenir from the gift shop.

And one last breakfast...

Then we headed to the airport. Just three nights. Kids didn't miss any school. Direct flight from Charlotte. Easy. We will be back!

Randoms

Thank y'all for the Molly Anne love yesterday! :) She is thrilled to think that some of you like what she posts!

A few randoms...

1. I did TSA precheck Touchless yesterday at the charlotte airport. It's super cool. If you're a known traveler and over 18 you can opt in on the American website. Not sure about other airlines. I know 15 airports have it so far! You don't have to show your ID or boarding pass.

2. Do you have an Amazon warehouse around you? Check here to see if they have open to the public tours you can take. It's very cool. My kids loved it too.

3. We are mostly doing clean out the fridge and also breakfast for dinner this week. I'm out of town a bit and it's just easier to have easier things planned. We had a shrimp bowl on Monday night that the kids loved. Shrimp, steamed broccoli, Asian cucumber salad, rice. Easy.

Molly Anne's Teen Picks

Molly Anne asked if she could help me with my blog and I told her yes and I would give her some of the commission she makes if y'all shop her links! Young entrepreneur-ness at its finest! She already has another post that she's thought of for next week. Here we go - I love her finds, especially number 1!

Oh and she can wear adult clothes now which makes this even more fun!

ONE - very cute fuzzy shoes and would be a good pick for 10-13 year olds, even cool Moms!

TWO - I personally like wider pants so anyone like me, this is perfect for you!

THREE - a cute skirt that I love to wear all the time.

FOUR - Shoes perfect for springtime I love how bright the colors are!

FIVE - Shorts that are nice for hot weather.

Panthers

We had sort of a low key weekend except we had some friends over to watch the Panthers play off game on Saturday. That turned into a couple little friends of Grady's spending the night and all of that! It was fun! Our house is set up so well for hosting in my humble little opinion. We built it and decided all of those details so it better! It's just nice to see that our decisions almost 10 years ago still work for us as our crew has grown!

Pancakes for the dudes and Molly Anne on Sunday morning!

Baseball lifestyle and madden duhhhh age 7/8!

Oh a little rewind - I took the kids to the Panthers pep rally on Friday after school. They loved it and got t shirts and a picture with Mike Tolbert and Sir Purr!

Oh yes and football on Saturday morning of course! Sunday was birthday parties and regrouping for the week!

Several former panthers players coach the teams where Grady plays flag. I think it's super cool they do that and give back like that. It's neat for the boys to see it. One of Grady's coaches played at Virginia and in the NFL! There's DeAngelo Williams in the teal over there. He's funny to watch coach because they are all so used to a different level of all of the things! And then it's 5-8 aged kids!

Busy week for me. Going to take it day by day.
