Sesame Street

We went to Sesame Street with Sarah and April and the girls on Friday morning!  It was a blast and the girls had so much fun!  I loved seeing the joy in Molly Anne's face!!! 

Five on Friday

1.  It's been a week I tell ya. I just get so anxious before I go out of town.  It's like how much can I do to prepare...so I go nuts.  

2.  They're alwaysssss beside each other. 

3.  I never used to "sleep stalk" my child but since we don't have a monitor anymore I do it all the time.  The monitor i is now only for sound since someone decided it was important to pull it down! ;)

4.  Swim class!  

5.  Lil piggies!!!  

Pool Inspiration

These are not the best images after you save them down but they're all from Pinterest.  Some pool inspiration.  We definitely are going to have a plain ole rectangular pool with a tanning ledge (for Mills of course! ;)).  We aren't sure what kind of pool deck we are doing yet.  Anyone have any suggestions?

Make Up Lessons

Well first things first!  I have good news to share. One of my dear friends told me yesterday that she is pregnant and I am SO thrilled for her!  After a long journey, they'll be welcoming that sweet babydoll in December!  Cannot wait!!  I get to see her next week and we will celebrate!

This lil one fell asleep like this last night which is rare.  Usually she's a stomach sleeper!  

Yesterday I dumped all of the pics and videos off my phone and onto my computer. Today I'll upload them all to Picassa and my external hard drives for extra back up. I keep one at home and one at my office. You can never have enough back ups!  Anyway I have a total of 15 pics on my phone and it feels GOOD and clean!!!  1,500 was way too many. 

Last night our friends got together and had a makeup artist come to our girls night!  Our dressing of choice these days is workout clothes. #noshame We are all just glad to be there after long days with kids and work!  I rode my bike over....wine included of course. Yes this is my bike from growing up. Love it don't hate it.  

April was our model and she doesn't even need makeup!  Check out the contouring!  I learned all kinds of fancy terms.  Considering I'm still using Clinique and no liquid foundation, I have A LOT to learn.

Birthday Party and Out

Friday night we hung with some neighbors in her front yard....

then the three of us went to dinner!

Saturday morning we went to our friend Mike and Sarah's house where Mike was presented a gun from a non-profit that gives back to wounded warriors.  This gun was used in WWII.  Very special and we were honored to be there for the presentation!

We had some afternoon nap issues both days this weekend which is very rare.  Plus she didn't eat a ton yesterday.  I'm thinking those two top teeth are coming any day.  Or maybe it's because she can sit up in her crib now and she's doing it because she can.  Who knows.  

Saturday afternoon we got to go to Camille's birthday party!

Saturday night Kathryn came over to hang out with Molly Anne and we went to the Southend area to meet up with our friends Davidson and Gina.  First stop was Nan and Byron's for a drink.  Second stop we walked over to Seoul Food Meat Company.  It's a new place and is super cool.  It's open air and has a cool, low key vibe.

We ended up at old school Cedar Street Tavern for a night cap...then I hit a wall around 11 and we headed home shortly after.  

Sunday morning errands with my girl.  She lit up at Target when she saw Minnie!  (PS...she doesn't normally roll around with a bib on but we were making wise use of our time and she was drinking her bottle as we strolled Target.)  

Anyway, I ended up putting the Minnie in our basket and then at the checkout line when I gave it back to her after we paid for it, she just squealed with excitement.  It was so adorable and worth the $5 just for her reaction.  I told Kevin this was the first time I've taken her to a toy aisle and she just got so bright eyed!  

Also as you'll notice, she started taking her bows out of her hair last week.  Ugh!  I will continue to put them in and she will keep them in sometimes.  Please let this just be a phase!

Outfit planning for the week.  Each outfit gets put in a labeled gallon size bag.  Yes, doing things like this on a Sunday is how I survive the week.  

Last night I bagged 4 more bags of trimmings.  We have a deal in our house - Kevin trims all of the bushes and I clean them up.  I did 4 one night last week after Molly Anne was in bed then finished last night after she was asleep.  It's nice to be outside on these cool Spring nights!

Happy Monday.  I'm off to the dentist... I can hardly wait! ;)

Five on Friday - Supper Club, Cradle and Mother's Day

Hope everyone had a nice week!

1.  Supper club on Monday night at Pacos Tacos.  I love that we do it later in the evening so we are all around for kid's bedtimes. I don't like missing a minute of Molly Anne's awake time so this is perfect!

2.  I ended up ordering this dress in navy for Vegas.  I'll have to get it shortened a tiny bit but it's classy but will still be good for work dinners with fun jewelry. 

3.  Lazy. 

4.  Y'all remember the cradle dad made Molly Anne?!!

5.  All the books off the shelf!

6.  Mothers Day flowers from my parents!!  Two other things I want to remember - my brother calling to wish me a Happy Mother's Day and getting a card from my friend Cathy. So sweet. 

7.  Front door selection... Still between three options. This one is top on Kevin's list. 

8. Organic brown eggs - obsessed with them.  They taste so much better than regular teeter eggs.  Random!!!

So there's my eight on Friday! ;)
