Five on Friday - With a Recipe!

Linking up with the girls today!  And my oh my is the recipe in this post amazing!

1.  I was at HomeGoods last Sunday and saw this cute pillow for $14.99.  I didn't get it but HomeGoods is THE place for pillows my friends.

2.  On Tuesday, Kevin had to travel for work and I couldn't go home at lunch to let Mills out so I took him to Doggie Day Care at his Camp.  He hadn't been since our wedding and he flipped when I turned on that street.  This is him before....

...this is him at 7pm when we got home.  He could not move he was so tired.  Mission accomplished.

3.  Pudding Shots.  These are from my friend Jennifer.  She made them for us last weekend and they are ahmazing and easy to make!

1 small box of chocolate fudge instant pudding (you could use chocolate or some other flavor as well)
¾ cup cold milk
¾ cup cookie dough vodka
8 oz container of cool whip

Mix pudding, milk and vodka together.  Then add in cool whip.  Put in the freezer until serving.

4.  Pottery Barn Classic Pendant - Metal Flared in bronze.  I ordered these with our remaining Pottery Barn gift cards from our wedding.  These will replace the ugly light in our kitchen.  Also, they were 20% off plus an additional 10% off with our bridal discount.  Fingers crossed they work in the space!

5.  Speaking of new lights.  Yall, we have had ELEVEN light bulbs go out this week in our house.  Isn't that crazy?!  Needless to say, I've become best friends with Don at Home Depot and he has taught me quite a bit about light bulbs.  Who knew there was so much to learn?!!

Excited for this weekend in Charlotte!  I'm celebrating my friend Emily on Friday night, Kevin is celebrating his friend Brad on Saturday night and we have a family dinner at our house on Sunday night for a special guest in town.  Looking forward to it!

  1. Can't wait to see pendant lights installed! I wonder if whipped cream vodka would work in those pudding shots..they look super tasty. And as always, I want to eat Mills with a spoon.

  2. MILLS! What a cutie. I'm glad he likes "Camp"! Bowser isn't really into it which makes it hard to leave him!

I can't wait to see the new light fixture. So pretty!

  9. I've never heard of pudding shots but am so so curious! Are they hard like ice cream or do they not fully freeze because of the alcohol. I don't even know why or when I would make them but I will find a reason...they look fun!
