Easy Recipe and Molly Anne

Well, Molly Anne is better and hasn't had a fever since Monday afternoon when it spiked really high.  So far no other symptoms so my fingers are crossed.  We had a nice day playing at home again yesterday while I tried to work at the same time.  Always exciting.  She likes spreading out her blankys and jumping from one to another!

Of course Molly Anne moves for one second and the king lays right on them!

My parents sent her a tic tac toe game and we played that on repeat the last two days.  But she put this O on her ring finger and said, "just like your ring mama!"  I sent that to Kevin haha.  We have a lot more time before you'll have a ring on that finger missy!

An easy recipe that I got from Tess.  We used pita bread on Monday night but I could do without and have it in a bowl like I did yesterday with the leftovers for lunch.  Easy and healthy!

She has a little egg hunt at Ms. Becky's today!  And because I couldn't pick just one, here are a few pictures of her!  Happy hump day!

Soccer and Egg Hunt

Friday I got to have lunch with a sorority sister that I hadn't seen in forever!

Saturday morning Molly Anne had soccer and Kevin moved his offices!

My Dad said she looks a lot like me in this picture ;)

She has really done a lot better at soccer these last couple of weeks!

They love playing out back together.  She will throw the ball for him and they'll both run after it and all over the place!

Post nap time chill time.

Saturday night we got sushi carryout for dinner and just hung at home.

Sunday was the egg hunt at our neighborhood clubhouse!

Three girlies waiting for them to say GO!

And this one sprinted so quickly onto the field that I couldn't keep up with her to take a picture from the front!

Then the older children played some relay games while the younger ones just ran all over the field!

Emme and Molly Anne

Then we went into the clubhouse and did a couple of crafts that were adorable!  I can't get all of the pictures to transfer off my camera so I don't have them all.  Molly Anne has called herself "Princess Molly Anne" since she has worn this headband!

Monday morning at 2:30am, she woke up with a fever so yesterday and today we are just hanging out and trying to get that under control.  I think she's already on the mend and hasn't had a fever since midday yesterday (it was 103.2 which scared me!).  I really can deal with most things, but not fevers!

Mills of course hasn't left her side!

My parents put together the cutest and biggest Easter box and sent it to her and she got it yesterday which was amazing timing ha!  She LOVED opening all of her goodies and has been playing with everything constantly since then!  Mom put several books in there, a couple crafts, the pink bunny, a couple games, puzzles, a Frozen apron and spatula.  Creative former teacher who thinks of everything for every holiday! :)

Introducing her bunnies!

Hope everyone is having a good week!

Friday - Parade and Gym

What a week.  I was in Dallas on Tuesday for a few hours and was supposed to fly to Atlanta on Wednesday but ended up not going.  Dallas was a rough and long trip.  Anyway, we made it to Friday.  Kevin has a ton going on with his office move and way too many other details to mention.  We had a bunch of people at the house yesterday with stuff going on.  I'm super nuts at work.  Ya know, all the fun stuff.

Anyway, a little snap beading after school on Monday with Maggie!

Yesterday we got to go to the Calvary Easter parade and see Gigi and Mary Scott in the parade.  Molly Anne LOVED it!

The sweetest ever!

Times two!

I can't wait for Molly Anne to participate in this next year!  She saw the director of the school and she put her arms out and Molly Anne ran right up and gave her a hug.  I just feel so comfortable with her going there in August!

Yesterday Molly Anne was on her best behavior all day and just so sweet.  I captured the most precious videos of her rocking her bunny to sleep and singing to her.  I do not take these moments for granted!  My goodness I love this little one more than I can even say!

We got our gym equipment installed yesterday so that was good.  Kevin is excited!

This week, we also signed up a company to do our lawn care for the next year.  We've never used a company like this before so we are looking forward to it.  Kevin has never minded cutting the grass etc but this will be a nice break for him this summer.  And I don't have to do any Round up on a gazillion weeds.  We purposely planned our landscaping to not have huge planted beds to eliminate a lot of maintenance.  This will be such a relief to have a nice looking yard and be able to focus our time doing other things together.

Hope everyone has a nice weekend!

Spring Pictures

The flowers at the front of our neighborhood are gorgeous and my friend Hilary gave me the idea to take some pictures of Molly Anne in front of them.  Sunday we took a wagon ride up there with my good camera and went to town!

I may have to frame this one!

I let her pick one tulip that she could keep and she just loved getting to do that!

We came back and she wanted to do chalk so she did that while I deleted all of the not great pictures off the camera.

But I captured a few real life pictures too!  Chalk and a wagon ride - two of her favorite things!

Happy Spring!

Pajamas

When I saw these pajamas on the Vineyard Vines website, I ordered them right away.  They have flamingos, whales and palm trees on them!  Molly Anne loved modeling for pictures after her nap on Sunday (if you can't tell by the below pictures)!  I got her a 4T because I do think VV runs a little small, plus I like her having room to grow into things.

I love this picture!
