I've seen where our Farmer's Market carries this Queen Charlotte pimento cheese royale but have never tried it until two weekends ago.
We have been missing out! It is amazing! And I love the story behind it too...a young teacher went on jeopardy and used his earnings to start his company. He still teaches and makes this at nights. He makes regular and also jalapeno.
It says they sell it at Reid's and a few other places. I get it at Providence Produce Market on Providence near Providence Promenade.
We had it on toasted rye bread this weekend with a fresh farmer's market tomato. The perfect summer sandwich.
Brad LOVES pimento cheese. I've only found a few that I like. We'll have to try!

ReplyDeleteThere's a SC pimento cheese called Palmetto Pimento Cheese and it's amazing!! Never heard of this brand before. I'll have to look for it on my next NC trip!
