Ft. Lauderdale

We arrived to Ft. Lauderdale mid afternoon on Friday! Our driver "Action Jackson" took us to the hotel. A couple more girls came in later. Suz, Meghan, Kelly the Bride, Max, Annie, Kristen (who was a complete sport, despite being pregnant with baby #2!)

The view from our room at the Hilton Beach Resort! We had two queen suites and they were really nice!

After we got checked in, we walked down the street to find a fun spot for lunch. We ended up at Casablanca Cafe which we later heard is the most romantic restaurant in South Florida. Ha! We enjoyed the patio and a cold beverage! Afterward, we met up with the other girls and had girl talk for a few hours! Ha! That night we went to the Samba Room on Friday night for dinner!

We didn't stay out late because I think everyone was pretty tired from a long day! The next morning we got up and some of us went for a walk. It was SO pretty out. Around 70 degrees but a tad windy. After walking, we met up for breakfast. It was so nice sitting out on the patio and having some fresh fruit and pastries!
We layed out by the pool for a few hours that morning (amazingly, some of us got a little sun despite the freezing wind!). We all got cleaned up to go for another walk and stopped for lunch at H2O. It was tasty....salads and sandwiches. One of the girls planned a scavenger hunt for us of things each team had to do or bring back. It was so fun being girls and egging on our bachelorette to do crazy things. We had to dress up and pose with a maniquin. This was ours - in a CVS. Ha!
After the hunt, we went to Fat Tuesdays for a drink and scooted back to the hotel just before it started raining! We hung out in one of the rooms and had dance party usa. It was fun! We then all showered up and got ready for the big night!
We went to Big City Tavern for dinner and as you can see, a few boys stopped by to wish the bride good luck!

We went to Blue Martini and saw this awesome band. They rocked it out! It was cool - the stage was behind the bar. They played dance songs that everyone knew!
Then we headed to the Westin where there is a happening night life. We had to wait about 10 minutes to get in! It was pretty but not really our scene. By this time, everyone was done so we headed back.
We got up for a quick breakfast before heading back to the airport. It was such a fun trip and we were glad to celebrate Kelly's upcoming marriage with her last weeks as a single lady!
