Five on Friday

Linking up with April and Christina today for 5 on Friday!

1.  This picture of Mills cracks me up.  He had his head out the sunroof and his chops flared out in the wind.  Hilarious.  We should all live this carefree!

2.  I found these pumpkins at Pier One this week.  They are so cute and under $10 for the whole box of them (hello Pottery Barn, please get with this pricing!).  Since there were so many, I used them on the mantel, in the foyer and in another lil bowl.  I'll have to share pictures once I officially decorate for Fall.

3.  I know, I really need to figure out what to do with my dress since it'll have been 6 months in two weeks.  I guess I'll preserve it but I can't handle putting it in a box and not ever being able to take it out and put it on.

So a couple of nights ago, I put it on!  Can we go back to that weekend and do it again?!  Kevin thought I was crazy for wearing it around the house and Mills kept stepping on my train.  Too funny!

4.  Last night I stayed uptown at our Avenue condo and went out with friends for the NC State/Clemson game.  Go State!  It was fun being back uptown, we've been missing it lately.

5.  We have an adventure this weekend that I'll have to tell you about on Monday!  I'm excited!

Happy Friday!!!!!!!!

  1. Ha! I got married last August and I still can't bear to send my dress off to be preserved. Glad I'm not the only one who has taken it out and walked around the house in it! :)

  2. Totally gonna be That Girl who wears her dress around the house periodically. I love it! It's the prettiest thing I've ever put on my body (other than my ring of course).

  3. Ooh I think I should put my dress back on when we come upon 6 months! Pretty sure Cameron will look at me cray cray, too. They just don't understand! :) Can't wait to hear about your weekend plans!

  4. That photo of Mills kills me! Hilarious!

My dress is hanging in the closet, not dry cleaned, not preserved. Hmmm... I should probably do something about that :)

  5. My mom had my sisters and her wedding gown made into a christening gown. The boys initials are sewn on the inside and it will be passed on. A great way to "preserve" your wedding dress!

  6. That picture of your pup is too funny! Ours tries to eat the wind/air out the window when we"re driving. She looks like a complete crazy but it makes for a good laugh. Have a great weekend!

  7. My mom took my dress the day after the wedding, had it preserved and now it is in a box under a bed...makes me sad that I can't even look at it?! What's the point of preserving it in a box for the rest of my life where I can't put it on or even see it. Maybe I'll pull it out in 10 years and then pay to have it preserved again?! haha
