Weekend of Dinners Out

We typically go out for dinner once on the weekends. Maybe twice. Well this weekend we went out all three nights for nice meals!

Friday night we went to the club with Kevin's parents and nice! Pink was evidently the color to wear!!

We ended up seeing our friends Lauren and Mark and we love hanging with them and my kids love her kids. That's the best part of the club - randomly getting to see friends and it always turns out to be such a fun evening!

Saturday morning walk with the boys to take his friend Connor part of his birthday present. Mills looks extra handsome from his grooming at Stay Golden Lodging!

Grady and I headed to Connors party while Kevin and Molly Anne went to see Inside Out 2. Kevin had already taken Grady a couple of weeks ago.

That night we went to Porter's House for dinner. Fancy! It's good to take the kids to places like that at their ages. They learn manners and how to act in a nice restaurant. They were actually really great and enjoyed steak and pasta and of course fancy Shirley temple.

We both got the special - ribeye and lobster. It was soooo good.

Then we did what we always do when we have extra time - drive around and look at neighborhoods. We like just cruising. We happened upon a concert at Rea Farms by an 80's band and we got out and watched a song of that.

Also I want to remember that Grady wanted to match Kevin in their Johnnie O shirts. I guess he hears Molly Anne and I talking about matching!

We watched the Olympics for awhile when we got home with this puppy.

Sunday we had all of our smoke detectors replaced - every 8-10 years from manufacture date on them! We had a situation last week when one went off (like not the low battery beep) and it freaked me out! So had to get them all redone and all is good now!

We did some errands and Grady played at Connors pool. Then Molly Anne got to go over for a bit too. She is a vibe y'all.

Last night we went to our last dinner place of the weekend - Little Mama's. I don't know if I've ever had food that tasted so good! This is part of the "mozzarella experience!"

Chicken Romano on this amazing fettuccine with truffled breadcrumbs on top. Like whoa! I'm glad to have leftovers!

On our way home the prettiest rainbow!

Here's to a great week!

  1. The rib eye and the mozzarella both look insane!! Agree about taking the kids to nicer restaurants at young ages!

Also, had to laugh, we had all of our smoke detectors replaced a few weeks back for the same reason - one went off for no issue and it freaked me out!!
