Three Jobs

I love what I do and wouldn't trade it for the world but if I could have a completely crazy, absolute wild dream job, it would be a country music star.  I'm fascinated with Carrie Underwood's and Scotty McCreery's job.  They are such good, regular people and now they get the most amazing experiences.  How amazing would it be to live their life for a day?!

Everyone that knows me knows that I can't sing an ounce...unless I'm in the car by myself with the music extremely loud...so this dream will never happen.

Something that I hope to do one day when I'm 70 and have nothing else to do:  an airport volunteer.  I think that would be the most fun thing ever.  And how exciting to welcome millions of people to Charlotte?!

I also have a wild desire to be a flight attendant one day.  I'd love to go to all the places they go to but I would not stay in the hotels that US Air puts them up in.  Again, not going to happen.

This is really odd but I think it'd be so fun to work at the neighborhood grocery store.  You'd get to see all of your friends and neighbors.  I'd like to be the person that does the shopping for the people that order their groceries online OR I would like to be a checkout girl.

Yes, I've lost my mind!  But please tell me what you all would like to be in your next life!

  1. Ha, these make me laugh, especially the HT one. When I was in kindergarten I wanted to work the drive through at Burger King. :) Now, if I could, I would rescue all of the animals in the world that needed me!

  3. I love talking to people so the idea of working in a small boutique has always appealed to me! I also volunteered a few Summers ago in the psychiatric ward of a hospital and have wanted to be a social worker deep down ever since!

  5. I love the variety in your dream jobs! Haha
My dream job would be a combination Dog Trainer + Animal Rescuer! In my fantasy life, I have a huge farm and all the time and money in the world to devote to rescuing and rehabilitating animals in need. :)

  9. Haha this is funny! I have always said, I would love to trade my stethoscope for a day with a wedding planners job. Not much is better than being apart of someones happiest moments (wedding day).

  11. Too funny..some of my dreams would be do be an interior decorator or own a boutique with home accessories and gifts!

I also think I'd love to do event planning.

Hmm...my list could go on and on!

I would literally have a breakdown every semester in college when it came time to pick classes for the next semester. I would freak out because I was interested in so many different things and paths and deciding one stressed me out!

  12. I was a cashier at our local grocery store in high school and I loved it. I knew almost everyone who would go through line and all of my friends worked there, too. It was perfect high school job.

I'd love to be a writer and I love the idea of being an event planner or wedding planner, but wouldn't love giving up my weekends. ;)
