More Help Needed!

Any suggestions on what to do or see if we have an extra three days in Italy at the end of July?  I consulted twitter the other night and got some great ideas so if y'all have any, please comment!  We have to book the trip by early next week and need all of the help we can get!

And PS - is this where you would even go if you had a few extra days to go somewhere near Monte Carlo?

  1. If you'll be near Monte Carlo, you should go to Cinque Terre, five of the cutest little towns connected by both train and hiking trails. You can hike, eat pesto (that's the region its from), take a boat ride, lay out at the beach and enjoy the beauty of the northern italian coast. Its a perfectly relaxing way to end a trip to Italy.

    Have a great trip!

  2. Pompeii is a really cool touristy place to go! I went with a travel group I found online where the price included the bus ride to and from Rome as well as lunch

  3. South of France and that part of Italy are my jam! Spent time there last June and fell in LOVE with everything. Are you coming / going on one of Kevin's incentives? Is the program in Monte Carlo? Cruise? In that area depending on how far you want to go I would suggest Nice, it is stunning! A bit further would include Florence, Rome or Naples/Sorrento - all awesome, Florence is my fave. Skip Pisa, total tourist trap and I did not make it to Pompeii, but know it is HOTTER than anything and there is zero shade.

  7. Cinque Terre hands down. Joe and I said I love you for the first time there 10 years ago so it is near and dear to our hearts but it was one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen.

  9. Sant Gimignano - a little medieval village in Toscana. Google it - but I have to tell you - NO photo can do it justice. You should see it with your own eyes. It's increadible! Florence & Siena are in the same region.
