Keeping Recipes Organized

One night in the middle of the night when I was up worrying about who knows what, I decided I needed to do something about alllll of the recipes I screenshot from Instagram or wherever on the internet! So this is what I did...

1. I made a new photo album called Recipes
2. I went to my Screenshot album in photos that's on every iPhone and selected all of the recipes that I wanted to move to my new album
3. Then I clicked the button like you're sending a picture to some then chose to move them to the Recipe album.
4. Easy! Now I know where to look and get dinner inspo!

Braves Workout

Grady got to do an awesome workout with the Braves last Thursday. It was super energetic and encouraging for him! Good discipline was taught. If one comes to your town, definitely sign up! Here is info on it.

He even got to meet Jose Alvarez, a former Braves pitcher. He talked to the boys and they were able to ask questions. Grady spoke up and asked him how he got so good at baseball and so strong. He said he worked very hard in the gym and on his skills. He didn't make his high school team until his senior year and then outworked everyone to get to where he was! Good stuff!

OIB

This weekend we were down in Ocean Isle and my best friend from college and her family came to hang! We were down on Friday and went to the beach before they got there.

Then over to the concert once the crew got there!

Couldn't live without either of these gals! I do day to day life with Hilary and college life and beyond with Kelly! It was such a treat to have them both together. We even got to walk the next morning! I'm thankful for them both.

We had some other friends in town that stopped by to hang which was a treat!

Sunday was the day of flounder! We caught two off of our dock. First one I caught with a cast net! Second one Grady caught with his fishing rod. Grady is OBSESSED with fishing. Spent hours out there yesterday!

We did a lot of kayaking too!

Thursday Looks

ONE - I keep coming back to this suede dress!

TWO - I will be buying a new black puff coat this Winter and I love the cut of this one. $99

THREE - a new find from Lulu. Y'all I'm picky on the material of workout tanks and this one is sooo good. I want to wear it every day. That's always a good feeling when you pick up something new! $48

FOUR - these beaded fish prints would be perfect for Grady's room, our little fisherman!

FIVE - these went on sale this week so I grabbed them for Molly Anne. She tried these on in June and they were the only "chill shoes" that were comfortable.

Molly Anne is 10!

I never did a fully dedicated post of Molly Anne turning 10!! She was at camp when she turned 10 (and they celebrated!) then we celebrated the day she got home and then we celebrated again with her friends! Oh and then we celebrated with Kevin's family. It was all fabulous! But, I always like to do some facts about the birthday queen or king around their big day so scroll down!

1. She is very into all of the things these days. Her mind stays busy! She must be challenged!
2. Grady is her best buddy and they play so well together most of the time. She went to his door first when we picked her up from a month away!
3. She has small feet - size 3.5 finally!
4. She still loves to swim but not on a year round team any more. She loves field hockey, tennis, basketball and horseback riding.
5. She is super creative and can make any craft you want her to make!
6. Unfortunately she likes YouTube but swears most of it is watching craft videos. Hmm.
7. She likes wearing jewelry and dressing up to go out for dinner. I'm not big on her being obsessive on the skin care stuff so we don't entertain much of that. She loves the lip balms and doing her hair the most!
8. Can you believe her mother hasn't let her get her ears pierced?! She can't either! Life is tough yall!
9. She can run on little sleep and isn't that affected by it. Ideally 8pm bedtime and 7am wake up. 6:15am wake up during school. She will sleep in though if she goes to bed super late.
10. She is a lovable child and will admit she was wrong then gets mad at herself. Little first child perfectionist!!

We love her SO much and are SO proud of her!

Hello there!

I think I've been a bit quiet on here. I'm hanging on by a string yall but still marching on. Work is busy. Summer is busy transporting my people to every camp imaginable in Charlotte and doing all of the things at home too. 

We are figuring out Fall sports and what our calendar will look like. It appears a lot of baseball and some field hockey and tennis too. For the first time in 3 years, no year round swim for Molly Anne! Grady will start back in swim lessons at some point this Winter. We need to get our arms around baseball first. 

We got our date for cabinets to be installed for our 3rd floor project. That has sort of turned into some home improvements on every floor though. I'll have to do a separate post about all of that chaos. 

I need to get Grady a new dresser of drawers and I cannot pull the trigger yet. They're all so expensive! But I've been overanalyzing that for a year so I need to do something.

Weekend in Charlotte

We stayed home this past weekend because we had a fun night out on Saturday.

Friday night dinner at our club - Grady versus the wings!

Saturday morning I played tennis with some friends and my watch liked that!

Saturday night we went back over to the club for apps and drinks with Hilary and Drew then went over to our friends Nicole and Jason's for a wine party. Hamel was in town and we loved tasting allll of their wines! And you know we bought some too which will be fun to receive.

This was on the bathroom sink when we got home!!

Amazon returns at Kohls equal both kids finding everything they want for Christmas. So we take pictures and then add it to their list!

Happy Monday. Getting my car serviced today which is always thrilling. Then we have a guy coming to help us hang two TVs tonight. Then we have more in the hopper this week with our house projects. Exciting!
