Weekend at Home

Last week, both kids were in half day camp at Latin. Molly Anne did basketball and Grady did baseball. Grady was awarded Camper of the Day on Friday and got a really nice Charlotte Latin hat! He said they told him he got it because he was so helpful all week to the coaches and a nice friend to the other campers. Proud mama!

On Friday after camp, Molly Anne washed her bike so she could get a top trade in value. Nannie and Poppa always get her a bike for her birthday so we trade their old ones in. Unfortunately they didn't have her size in store so they ordered one for her to get later in July!

Kevin worked late on Friday so I took the kids out for Mexican food. It was fun.

On Saturday we played at our neighborhood pool and got to have Sarah and Gwen join us! We were there for four hours! Lots of fun and giggles and laughs.

That night the four of us went to hibachi at Kabuto. Grady had been asking to go to the place where they cook in front of you. He was so excited! Then we stopped by Handel's in Redstone on the way home for ice cream. That place is good!

Sunday morning the kids slept until after 9. Mills is always watching me. See him over there.

Where Mills belongs.

Playing a new game that Ms. Julie gave her.

  1. Washing her bike!! So sweet!! It's hard to pass on beach weekends in the summer, but time at home to chill a bit always feels like a treat this time of year!
