Thank you for all your sweet comments yesterday! It's been quite a week but we plan to recoup this weekend!
1. Hatley Pajamas - I know some of you have asked about Molly Anne's cute pajamas and they are from Hatley! Are they not adorable or what? They're super soft and more cuddly than the Carters ones and I think they fit a little looser too. Her feet get cold so that's why I still have her in these footed PJs. And a zip up is essential in my opinion.
Last week one of her new pairs I got in June got a hole in them and I emailed the Hatley customer service asking if that's typical. They responded the same day and said no and to pick out any pair on the website and they'd send them to me. No pictures needed. No need to return the old one (in fact they told me to donate it!). No questions. How awesome is that? I'll definitely be ordering from them again and I hope you all do too. Good customer service like that is the best. Thank you Hatley! Check out how cute their PJs are...
2. I think you all may remember that I had this watercolor done by a sweet gal in Charlotte. I gave one to each of our Moms for Mother's Day. My Mom had it framed at a cute shop in their hometown...how gorgeous is this?!! The picture of the picture doesn't do it justice but trust me, it's so well done.
3. We are still working on brick for our new home. I'm glad our floor plan is finally done. We hope to break ground in August or September and it'll take around 10 months to build.
4. I'm so over the Nordstrom anniversary sale. I'm sure there are wonderful deals but holy cow, how many bloggers did they pay to talk about it constantly? Also, I do not like fall clothes and would prefer to live in a Lilly sundress 24/7/365. Who's with me?
5. Next week I need to get back on the meal planning train. I like to meal plan Friday or Saturday nights and pick up the groceries from Harris Teeter express lane the next day. We eat healthier and cheaper if we do this but most weeks when I'm gone it's hard. Next week I should be home most of the week so I'm getting motivated to get it done.
Hope you all have a nice little weekend!
Super super ditto on the Nordstrom thing. Belk is my beloved because I just don't have 800$ to pay for a coat! Also, if you're still looking for brick you should check out Palmetto Brick. I'm pretty sure they have an office up near you but they are based out of Cheraw. My friends family owns it and they are good people! :) Just thought I'd throw that out there. Hope ya'll have a good weekend!
ReplyDeleteI almost started crying when I went to Target to buy 12 month pjs for Oliver and the biggest size they had in footed pjs was 9 months! I'll definitely check out the Hatley brand! They're so cute! SO over every freakin blogger posting about Nordstrom! And I hate how they're all so secretive about making commission. I have no desire to order a thing because it's still 100 degrees here but I also hate to think someone is making money If I do buy something!
ReplyDeleteAMEN on the Nordy's posts. Insane:) and those pjs are too cute.
ReplyDeleteI mean, if bloggers didn't share with me what they like at the sale then how the heck am I supposed to know what to buy so I look like everyone else!?!?!?!?
ReplyDeleteThat watercolor oh my gosh! So cute and what a great Mother's Day Gift!
ReplyDeleteThat watercolor is amazingly adorable. :)
ReplyDeleteI love Hatley pjs! They had some adorable bunnies two years ago. I just ordered a watercolor from the same person (she's a friend of a friend) of our old house. Can't wait to see what she comes up with! MA's picture is so so precious! So sick of the Nordstrom sale posts! I put in HT orders multiple times a week so I don't have to meal plan all at once - I'm the worst at meal planning though! Have a good weekend! Can't wait to see what brick you pick out!
ReplyDeleteI love those PJs and I love the watercolor. I agree with the Nordstrom Sale posts. I put one up but no riding boots or coats were to be found-really it was just cute work tops I found on the sale. haha. Not a typically blogger. Jess at Just Jess
ReplyDeleteLove those jammies--I am going to check this company out.
ReplyDeleteSO GLAD you didn't post about the Nordstrom sale. I don't mind the posts with 3 or 4 items the blogger suggest, but the overwhelming SHOP SHOP SHOP posts make me absolutely crazy. I read blogs for content and endless pictures of items to buy exhaust me. Some of the blogs I used to most enjoy have morphed from content/family type posts to NOTHING but shopping and I find myself very turned off by them. That being said, KEEP UP the good work!
Going to check out Hatley now. Those PJs are so cute! Molly Anne is always dressed to the nines. I love it! Amen to not spamming us with more Nordstrom sale picks. Thanks, I can shop a website myself ;) I will be saving my $$$ for the After Party Sale.
ReplyDeleteUgh I am just kind of over Nordstrom. I hate all the posts and to be honest after so much hype about the sale there is nothing that I was totally wow-ed by! I did get an email that The Pink Door is having a summer sale and I am all over that (PS- not paid to say that I just think a) its a great sale b) their customer service is awesome!) so with you in wanting to wear Lilly all.the.time.
ReplyDeleteUgh- so agree about the Nordstrom sale. I think the hype is overdone..... Not much there I would buy. I as well cannot get over the multiple " multiple" explanations about what " pre-sale" / "preview" is. Were we born yesterday? With the continued presence of this sale---- if a blog had this as their heading-- I skipped that entry. Just saying.....
ReplyDeleteSummer clothes for life! It's so easy to get dressed in the summer and I don't like wearing jeans and layers. Good thing I live in Florida! :)
ReplyDeleteSo agree on the Nordstrom sale!
ReplyDeleteI have two Hatley dresses and love them.
LOVE Hatley pajamas...they are seriously the BEST. I like them much better than HA. And don't judge me, I spent a small fortune at the Nordstrom sale, but only because I had a huge gift card Trav got me for my push present. BUT! I was able to spend it all without consulting all of the blogs for those blogger's picks! Hahah, some of those girls are ridiculous!!! I don't need a week of posts about a sale. And I love Lilly too, but cannot wait for fall clothes ;) I am too fat for summer clothes this year!
ReplyDeleteLOVE Hatley pajamas! back when I was pregnant with M I went to a Hatley store in Vermont and fell in love! I love them!
ReplyDeleteAlso...you know how I feel about the N sale and fashion bloggers ;)
❤️ this post and Amen re: the Nordstrom sale. Makes me less inclined to buy from Nordstrom, not more. (Also, is it Nordstrom or Nordstroms? So confused!!). MA is adorable, and the watercolor is a great idea.
ReplyDeleteWe love Hatley, too! Cute pjs, and also bought a cute raincoat recently. ;)
ReplyDeleteI'm so with you - if I don't meal plan and cook on Sunday, I struggle ALL WEEK with what me, my husband, and 16mo are eating for lunch AND dinner.
Those PJ's are adorable! Do they come in my size!? haha
ReplyDeleteLove those PJ's! You said they run big? What size is MA in now? I'm trying to decide whether to go with 12-18 or 18-24. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteAMEN on shaming fall clothes! Can it just be summer year round??!
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, Hatley is the best! Love them! (Also love their dresses for women too....I have several!)
