Here's to not making dinner complicated.
Baked potato,
Steamed broccoli
Caesar salad kit in a bag
One package of crescent rolls - join two triangles together then cut in a square.
4 hot dogs cut in half - get the thicker dogs not the thin and long ones
Put the crescent roll square on the round dog and set it on a tray on the flat cut side.
Use a knife to make a hole for the eyes!
Bake 375 for 5 minutes!
Putting two of these in Grady's lunchbox!
We cruised down to Ocean Isle on Saturday night after Molly Anne's field hockey tournament and a baseball game to Grady. It was sorta crazy getting to her tourney with one car and a dog but we made it happen. Oh and on Friday night we ended up with neighborhood friends on the porch.
And look who we found! Poppa! He had been in Pawleys building a boat at the Wooden Boat Show with my brother. We captured him on his way back Maryland and had him stay and hang at the Oysterfest with us!
We all have headed back home today. We always want to stay at the beach longer!
Grouper bites and gin and tonics before we had shrimp creole for dinner! Yum!
Random finds this week!
ONE - these jeans
TWO - still want some new kicks that don't seem too much like soccer shoes
THREE - I wear this in the summer and also in the winter with a long cardigan. Instantly feel put together!
FOUR - love the beading on this candle - pick this up for a hostess gift!
FIVE - ha and this beaded purse too!
Grady got Phase I braces last Thursday! So far, he has made out reasonably well. He can't tell the difference between sore and pain but we are working through it. I think they ache ya know. Mostly he has only had Motrin once a day and just days 2, 3 and 4.
He will have these for 12-15 months then have a couple year break then get Phase II.
He's been going to the orthodontist since he turned 7 and they've been working on his mouth since then about every 6 months. He's had four teeth pulled to prep for braces.
Here we go!
Before
After... he was not thrilled!
Here's my lunch one day last week that I packed and took to work! Thank you Costco! I was going to be lazy and get something out but I'm always glad I pack!
Cottage cheese with everything seasoning
Kimchi - see below
Quinoa salad - see below
We really didn't do much this weekend because the rain canceled most of the baseball. He missed three games and a practice.
Friday night Grady and I went to Brittany's home in the hood to hang out.
Molly Anne got a late birthday gift from her Aunt and Uncle and she was sooooo excited about her new FP Movement sweatshirt! Her birthday being over a holiday and when she's at camp is hard for people to remember! I'd say this was a pretty awesome surprise!
Skiff learned about pumpkins!
A good boy
Because of the canceled games, Molly Anne and I headed to the mall on Saturday. She loved it. We could have stayed longer but had to get back to take Grady to a birthday party.
We take pictures of things she likes and I add them to an album called "MA Would Like!"
Saturday night we hung at Hilary's to watch the UGA and Alabama football game. We all made appetizers and it was fun!
We didn't do much on Sunday. Watched church and laid low. It was much needed. One more week of field hockey season. Lots of that and baseball this week! These are the days!
Lots of randoms in here today!
ONE - if you don't have this top in any color, you're truly missing out! Now they have the long sleeve version too. I have pink, blue and gray and wear them allll of the time!
TWO - comfortable with a mock neck too
THREE - good Fall bag
FOUR - you prob remember Lisa and I talking about the below necklace. Now it is on Amazon - crazy!
FIVE - a great top for so many occasions
The kids and I have been into the parfait situation these days for breakfast. This is a fav combo then add whatever fruit you like. Speaking of fruit - if you're in an area where you can get fruit on Amazon - order some and have it sitting on your porch when you wake up in the AM. You will be pleased!

The big deal around here was Grady pitched in his game for the first time on Saturday and Kevin and the kids did iFly!
My little dude who isn't so little anymore!

Dinner at the club Friday night and Daisy came with us. We had some neighbors over to hang on the porch and we stayed up wayyyyy too late - 2:30am!

I sorta learned how to play mahjong - anyone else into this? I can see how it's addicting!

Grady pitching! He's starting to take lessons so he will get better.

Our old neighbors came to watch his game!

Game ball!

We laid low on Saturday evening. Molly Anne and I went to look for some clothes for her that afternoon.
Sunday - church and iFly. I need to get this child some shorts and pants that fit him! He couldn't button his pants for church! These were a tight squeeze too!

The kids loved flying. I'd say Grady was probably a bit too young but he is not the most coordinated. Molly Anne did really well.

We took lots of golf cart rides checking out Halloween decor. It's always fun to do that!
Hope everyone has a great week. We have a couple more weeks of field hockey and baseball chaos. But I love it!
The face of a boy who got up yesterday morning and took Skiff out AND made himself breakfast before I even came downstairs! He's growing right up!

Well this week is good and you won't believe the prices! All under $50!
ONE - this navy skirt is gorg. Comes in other colors too.

TWO - this top

THREE - wide leg jeans with elastic waist - yes

FOUR - these pants with the brown top above

FIVE - still wearing cute shorts in NC!
