Tis the Season!

Sunday was the first day I've had at the house where I didn't have to go anywhere or do anything other than get my act together.  Which coincidently meant I had a lot to do but it was all fun stuff.

One of which was putting some good smellers on my stove for us to enjoy.

Half of an orange in thirds, 3/4 cup of fresh cranberries, two cinnamon sticks broken in half and apple cider poured over until everything was floating (probably about two cups).  It smelled amazing.  I didn't pour it out as I plan to heat it up again tonight and probably pour more cider over it.

I picked this bread up at Teeter yesterday instead of our usual bagel thins.  This is SO good and the perfect holiday treat.  I toasted it, put a lil spray butter on it and had a yum breakfast.  I also had a little yogurt from TJ's too.  Delish.  I think they have other flavors of this bread so check it out at your local grocery store!

I also made an ornament wreath yesterday and fixed a light lasagna soup for dinner.  I'll have to post about those later this week!

I used to have a co-worker whose husband worked for Pepperidge Farm and she would always bring in all of the different flavors of the swirled bread. SO GOOD.
Did you make the Dean Brother's lasagna soup?!?! My absolute favorite!!

Also, I may try this warmed scent idea for my cookie swap this weekend!

If I want something to smell delicious, I usually buy the cheapest apple pie I can find and heat it up in the oven to use as an air freshener. I tend keep the oven a little cooler than what the directions call for so it'll smell for longer. Plus, my fiance doesn't usually mind having to dispose of an apple pie when we're done :)

This sounds like it would smell SO good! I'm going to try it! And I am hunting down that bread - I've had the cinnamon raisin version and loved it.
