Fam Visit

My week was made two weeks in a row.  First - Emily (my SIL) asked if we were around the night of December 6th and they said they were coming to visit us in Charlotte.  Second - they came to Charlotte!  Maybe it was to only see Mills (haha!), but we LOVED seeing them too!

Anna Kate loved Mills.  And Mills loved Anna Kate.

Thankfully we were able to capture a picture for my parent's Christmas card.  If I don't see my brother and his family near Christmas, I'm forced to be in a picture by myself.  Like one year I looked like a real estate agent posing on my uptown balcony...by myself.  I looked like an idiot.  Looking back, I should have come up with a more creative shot since it was just me.  Oh well.  I had the fam this year!!!  And it's kinda funny like all three of us "adults" have a child!  Mine just happens to be furry!  Next year we'll have Kevin join us!

Kevin and I gave them all their Christmas gifts.  We had fun watching them open!

Miss Sarah has on my cowboy boots and is walking in them.  Cracks me up!

(ignore our temporary porch furniture ha!)

Anna Kate and I took Mills (or Millsy as she called him) for a long walk!

Mills also helped my brother sell boats.

We all ate dinner (chili) and then the girls went to bed.  That's after Anna Kate had a jacuzzi bath!

Then we turned up some beverages and the four of us plus Mills had a big time!

My cool SIL.

Kevin and Clay (while they had a big fire burning) decided it'd be cool to get my Dad's ole Red Ryder bb gun out of my brother's truck to shoot beer cans off a bucket.  Nothing but class my friends!

Mills tried to supervise after the Jack and Maker's arrived but he just couldn't stay awake!

My brother shooting "gangsta style!"  Hahahaha.  I bet our new neighbors think we're a bunch of rednecks!

Emily kept us straight and made us go to bed around 11.  It was time.  Mills woke Anna Kate up around 6:15am and she walked him in her skinny colored jeans and cowboy boots.  Girlfriend is always in style.  I do think Mills (at 15 weeks) weighs more than Anna Kate (at 5 years old).

We went to breakfast at Stack's then they went to ride on the Polar Express!

Thank you all for coming to visit us.  Please come back soon!  Clay, Mills needs your training lessons some more.
