Wedding Wednesday - The Church

Last week we sent our deposit in for the church!  We'll be getting married at St. Peter's Episcopal Church in uptown Charlotte.  Since Kevin and I aren't members of a church in Charlotte yet, we decided we'd pick one that had some meaning.  Kevin's parent's got married in this church 40 years ago!

My Methodist minister from Maryland will (hopefully!) be able to come down that weekend to marry us.  He's a good friend of my Dad's and we've grown up at the church where he's the minister.

We're thrilled with how St. Peter's fell into place for us.  It's a block from where we currently live, two blocks from the center of Charlotte and close to hotels for our out of town guests.  The church also has an organ which was important to us.

Checking things off the list!
