So glad to be home but we truly had the best time! I'm going to try not to bore you with too many details but I am going to have to do a post on each day because I took over 500 pictures. I promise not to put them all up here....only the highlights! Do stay tuned though because we had saw some really cool things that I have a feeling yall will love to hear about! I'm going to try to do a couple posts a day so these won't last all week!
The first day we flew into LA on Kevin's birthday. We drove down to Laguna Beach.
And had lunch at Las Brisas. It was delish. Kevin got sea bass ceviche and I had a couple fish tacos.
We stayed in Coronado the first night. This is the view of San Diego from the bridge going into Coronado.
Our hotel was not the best (especially not for a "luxury resort") but we did get to spend some time at Hotel del Coronado which was amazing. We had dinner there for Kevin's birthday that night.
I had called ahead and talked to the manager about the right time and perfect table. 5pm is sunset and they are plain gorgeous there!!!
They let us take our wine out on the beach to check it out!
Not the best picture but it'll do!
View right from our table. Amazing! Kevin had sea bass for dinner and I had tuna. We shared a crab and cheddar fondue for an appetizer. Delish.
And they were super sweet to bring him a dessert. If you ever get the opportunity - have dinner at Sheerwater at "The Del." After dinner, we walked around the shops in the hotel. They sold Lilly at one of them so that was fun! I got a soap and two small candles that were unique scents to their hotel. Thought they'd be fun to have to remember our trip. In fact, this was all I bought as extras on the trip. Kevin got a couple t-shirts.
After dinner we walked around downtown Coronado while we waited for our hotel shuttle.
This was definitely not the best night as the power went out in the hotel and we had a long day with flying over there and driving down to San Diego. The best was yet to come.... :)
