Weekend - Spa and Benjamin's Birthday

Hope you all had a nice weekend!

Friday night I finally got out of the house for dinner at Zapatas and then an exciting trip to Wal-Mart.  When we go to Wal-Mart, we buy in bulk.  I just hate going there.  So there are a few things that we can only get there - our favorite Zest Ocean body wash, Coast soap bars and Mills' puppy goodies.  And we buy them out of each thing every time we go.

Kevin had other priorities with his three new best friends.

We ended up getting all of these.  We had about 10 more in our cart we decided to part with.

Saturday we had a spa day planned at Ballantyne resort.  I always say, this is the best spa in Charlotte.

We had lunch by the pool afterwards and lots of girl talk.  It was much needed!

Saturday evening we went to celebrate this guy's first birthday!

He is my friend Kim's lil boy - is he not the cutest?

Kevin and Jeff.

Jeff's sister and I.

Sunday consisted of hanging with this puppy all day.  We did take the jeep for a couple errands and a late lunch but that was all we did.  Chill time was necessary for sure.

  1. Love the Walmart picture - you guys are living on the edge… The spa sounds wonderful. We used to live in AZ and they have fab spas and great packages similar to what you described. My daughter that lives there still does them sometimes. You look wonderful!

  2. The robe with the knot above your belly makes you look the most pregnant I've seen you ;) So jealous of the spa day!

  3. What a great weekend! My husband and I did the exact thing Kevin did last summer when we were near a Walmart. If it makes you feel any better, we were on vacation, and seriously took about 20 minutes to try to find every family member's name that we could!

  5. You can always find this place packed on a weekend night and sometimes they host parties that you can't get into, but other than that happening every once in a while LA venues are the place to be. They have nice upstairs and down stairs area.
