It's Monday!
Friday night consisted of homemade pizza and watching the Panthers preseason game. Very necessary after a chaotic week. We've gotten to the point where we rely on Fridays to do nothing.
Kevin and I looked at Houzz for ideas for our backyard. We're getting closer to drawing some plans. We shall see!
Saturday morning we visited Kevin at his office!
I ran a bunch of errands that afternoon. For something fun, I made The Chardonnay's Kitchen grapefruit margarita and it was delish. I don't love tequila, I'd never had St. Germain and I thought I hated grapefruit but this was good and refreshing. I'll make this again sometime.
Saturday evening we went to Kevin's high school buddy's surprise birthday party.

Sunday morning I went to watch our friend Shauna get baptized by her husband Brad. What a special day it was!
Yesterday afternoon we went to a funeral of one of Kevin's friends. It was incredibly sad as he left behind a wife and three young children. Not fair.
Hope you all had a nice weekend. Back to the grind!
Pixie loves laying on our ottoman too! Theo always jokes and says we paid $200 for a raised bed for Pixie! That grapefruit margarita sounds yummy. I'm not a big grapefruit person either but I do like it in liquor drinks. That's so sad about Kevin's friend! It's always not fair when someone so young passes away. Have a great Monday friend!

ReplyDeleteI heard about Kevin's friend from Brad. What a terrible loss, I feel so awful for his family. Also, I wanted to say thank you again for coming to my baptism Sunday.It meant so much to have friends and family there, I was touched.
