Queen Charlotte Pimento Cheese

I don't think my post yesterday made a lick of sense but oh well.  Wish I could give you that one minute of your life back.  Ha!

I've seen where our Farmer's Market carries this Queen Charlotte pimento cheese royale but have never tried it until two weekends ago.

We have been missing out!  It is amazing!  And I love the story behind it too...a young teacher went on jeopardy and used his earnings to start his company.  He still teaches and makes this at nights.  He makes regular and also jalapeno.

It says they sell it at Reid's and a few other places.  I get it at Providence Produce Market on Providence near Providence Promenade.

We had it on toasted rye bread this weekend with a fresh farmer's market tomato.  The perfect summer sandwich.
