Few Pics from Weekend

We had a pretty low key weekend.  My parents left on Friday morning and of course I cried.  It never gets easier leaving them, especially when I don't know the next time we'll see them.  I'm hoping to plan something soon.  Even though we are 8 hours apart I still think it's extra important they get to spend a lot of time with Molly Anne and let them be Nannie and Poppa.  With Kevin's parents we are fortunate to get to see them almost weekly!

We honestly didn't do much at all this weekend and it was so necessary.  I cleaned up around the house, Molly Anne and I went on a couple adventures...to you know Target and Old Navy and just hung out.

And took pictures.

And took naps, not in her crib! ;)

And we went to the neighborhood playground with our friend Gigi.

And Molly Anne got a tooth!

These pictures are from last night.  Mom and Dad got her this light up thing that talks.  It's by Fisher Price and she LOVES it.  Of course Mills had to squeeze in there and rest his hoover on the ottoman.

This dog is wild!

It's been good to be back on a schedule this week don't you all think?  Anyone get any steals at the Lilly sale yesterday?  Anyone watch the bachelor last night?

  1. So exciting she has her first tooth! It looks like a great weekend; I love all the photos. I can only imagine how hard it must be to be away from your parents, and I hope you all plan a trip to see each other soon. It definitely helps to have that to look forward too!

  2. She is SO cute. Getting so big with a tooth! I watch the Bach last night! What did you think? I think it's going to be an interesting season! That Lace is really something! He's going to regret giving her a rose I bet!

  3. The majority of my family lives in NY still (I'm from there but have been living in South Carolina since I was 16 1/2) and it never gets any easier saying goodbye to them when I leave, especially my nieces & nephews.

    Molly Anne is so adorable.

That picture of Mills at the end of your post cracks me up. It's like he's saying "please, no more pictures, Mom." lol.

I watched The Bachelor and I enjoyed it. I detect there is going to be plenty of drama this season.

I hope you have a great week, sweetie!

  8. I'm sorry to hear you cried but happy to hear I'm not alone! I cry every time I leave my parents after a holiday stay (and they live 20 minutes away!) but there's no time like that when all staying together enjoying each other!

We hardly did anything this weekend too and it was the perfect way to kick off the year!
