Nice little weekend to start kicking off the Christmas festivities!
Started Friday night by volunteering with friends for the 4th Ward Holiday Home Tour uptown. It's my 8th year volunteering. Crazy. My condo was on it back in 2008.
This year we were at a cute townhome on settlers lane.
Then we had dinner at Alexander Michaels. So good. Of course we had to stop by Connollys. Duh. We called it a night around 10:15.
Saturday morning I was honored to attend a sprinkle baby shower for my friend Katie! The hostesses went all out!
We are all holding signs of what we thinking the baby is saying!
I came home and I got so much stuff done. I took Kevin and his buddy to watch football and Molly Anne and I just hung. We were busy with Christmas duties. Finally got ornaments on the tree, some presents are wrapped, meal planned for this week, laundry, made her some sweet potatoes and just got a lot accomplished.
I literally ran crazy both days but it's been good. I really needed this weekend.
I even had time to take both children for a trot!
Yesterday afternoon I prepped three meals for this week. I feel so much better knowing I'm sorta ahead of myself for at least a couple of days! And last night I slept 9 straight hours. Ahhhhh I feel like a new person!
