Friday night we hung around the house after Grady had a birthday party!
Saturday was busy. First up was a back to school brunch at my friend's home. She made the best brunch. And check out this avocado toast I'll be dreaming about. It was 8 moms from school and it was wonderful to be with them! All NICE gals!
Saturday afternoon we divided and conquered. Kevin took Grady to a scrimmage. Molly Anne and I went to watch for 45 min. Then we came back to the hood to set up for her young entrepreneur event that friends in the hood put on! Lots of kids had booths of things they wanted to sell! Dirty soda, soap, 3D printer stuff, dog treats and more! Molly Anne did "Books and Bracelets" though the star of the show was the custom charm bracelet bar! She did it all herself! She figured out how much she had to spend to make one bracelet so then she could decide what to sell them for. Very good life skills!
Grady wanted to sell some of his books.
Then it was the neighborhood pool party for back to school!
Sunday was church then my car wouldn't start when we were trying to leave. AAA to the rescue. Worst places to be stranded than church!
Got a new battery and back to it! Had so many things to do on the eve of the first day of school! Plus my Walmart groceries got delivered in this heat so my friend Jen had to get them in for me while I was still stranded!
Molly Anne had field hockey pictures and Grady had ball practice. And I had meal prep to do. Ahhhh!
