Hello my friends. Another week, another week of planning and cooking meals for the people that live with me. Had to keep things simple this week because I ordered groceries on the plane ride back from the Dominican on Monday!
Tuesday - tortellini and sausage soup - I made it on Monday night then kept it in the fridge overnight to pop in the slow cooker on Tuesday morning. I left it on low for 10 hours not 5 and it was fine!

Wednesday - crab cakes (with frozen Maryland crab meat - thanks Dad!), fresh green beans in the air fryer with avocado oil and everything bagel seasoning and fruit - I'll probably make a little fruit bowl with strawberries, banana, mango and apples.
Thursday - I cut filets off of the Christmas Eve meat I got from Costco and froze them. We will have those, steamed broccoli (my kids love) and some sort of starch.
Friday - smash burgers and a southwest salad bag that I got from Walmart.
Saturday - I want to make a soup for the brisk weather we will be having. Share your favorite soup recipes!
These are some favorites at our house!

Yum! You have good taste!
DeleteThis is a huge hit with my friends and family AND it's a crockpot soup so you can be done with dinner prep in the morning and go about your day:

I just buy tortilla chips and leave them on the side for everyone to serve themselves. Really flavorful, has tons of protein with the chicken and beans, and basically no mess because you throw everything in the crockpot. Great for weeknights or especially busy weekends!
Looks amazing, thank you!
