Club and Egg Hunt

We had a fun but busy weekend! All good things though! 

We invited our friends Andi and Clay and their two girls to come to dinner at the club on Friday night. The kids had a blast and so did we. I grew up with Andi in Maryland and it’s so cool that they live 5 minutes from us!

Saturday these nuts played allllll day after the rain moved out. Grady’s game was canceled but it turned out to be a beautiful day. They all played between both houses and I was able to sell a bunch of Grady’s clothes while they did that. I’m finally at the point that they are okay to play outside by themselves as long as they all stay together. It’s pretty life changing I must say!

Hilary and Drew had us over for a Mexican dinner and it was delish. I need to get Hilary’s recipes and I’ll share here when I do! She did these chicken enchiladas and a street corn thing. Soooo good. 

This was at 10:45pm. We went home shortly after with three kiddos. Molly Anne and Greer slept in sleeping bags on the playroom floor and were so happy! Ha. 



Sunday morning we had the egg hunt at the club. It was great seeing a bunch of our friends there. That’s the best part of going over there - seeing lots of people we know. 5 years ago when we joined we didn’t know a ton of people but we’ve really gotten more involved and also met more of Molly Anne’s school friends!

















Then we headed to lacrosse and they thankfully have a great playground out at Matthews Sportsplex. Grady also takes his scooter so we get some exercise in too. 

A fun weekend indeed. Gearing up for a big week of work and Easter!
