Quick Trip

So yesterday I got to work and around 9am, one of the guys came into my office and said, "so and so is really sick, can you go to Norfolk, VA tonight for a meeting?"

I booked a flight at 9:30am, ran home real fast to throw clothes in a bag (had no clue what I packed) and got to the airport just before my 11:50am flight.  Definitely valet parked!  ;)

Gorgeous day for flying despite the high winds.  Here is a cool shot coming into Norfolk.

Had my meeting last night and stayed at the Hilton near the airport.  You know how hotel sleep is...basically non-existant.

I got up at the crack of dawn and cruised to the airport.  Look what I passed... "Kevin Drive."  Of course I stopped to take a picture!  ;)

Then I read USA Today and look at this...evidently for people ages 25-34, it is "cool" to text with your Mom and Dad.  Evidently it is "annoying" when you're 13-17.  Haha!  I blackberry messaged this to my Dad and he thought it was funny.  We BBM a lot!

Now I'm back in Charlotte after a quick trip.  Sorry for the delay in posting today and obviously I didn't have a chance yesterday.

Can yall believe it is December??????
