Menu this week

You've probably noticed that nothing I make is complicated, especially during the work week.

On Sunday I made this chicken, orzo, broccoli situation for Monday and it was SO good. Kids loved it.

Tonight we are having hamburger helper and a Caesar salad!!

Wednesday we are having shrimp alla vodka with mushrooms and fresh tomatoes. Just using jarred Rao's Alfredo and marinara mixed and I always use Barilla protein noodles

Thursday - chicken stir fry.

Friday - pizza!

Weekending

As you can imagine, my entire camera roll is full of Skiff! After tennis on Friday, he liked the window being open!

I took the kids to slick city - it was super fun! They loved it. Super clean too!

Skiff's favorite toy - a Sharky's cup that I was drinking my water out of! He's obsessed! Now his name is on the bottom of this one!

Grady had an opening weekend parade for baseball on Friday night that we all went to. We brought pizza home and ate in the driveway and played with the puppy.

Rise and shine - let's play baseball! They tied their old team 12-12 and grady went 4-4!

Then they had a big adventure to Columbia to watch our neighbors favorite team - Arkansas play baseball!

The sounds of giggling boys - the best

This boy jumped in Hilary’s pool like so quickly it shocked us all! He dove right in, came up and doggie paddled over to me. I was in the yard kinda caddy corner and he swam right over. It was cold but he loved it!

Oh and a melting pot excursion on a school night!

Skiff Update

Skiff has been a great deal of places and done lots of things this week! Baseball, golf cart ride, met Hilary, Micki, Brittany, Jillian, Bella, Coach Joe, Ms. Alicia, neighbors and more. He's learned about all of our household activities - kids playing all over our house, grilling, riding to tennis and school drop off, all of the things. He has played basketball, tennis and football.

He knows his name and knows, "here!"

He also know that after he goes out to go potty, he comes back in and gets a goodie. He's pretty with it!

Night one - didn't sleep

Night two - got a smaller crate and move him to a bedroom large closet - slept but whined at 12:30a. Didnt get him but I woke up at 2:50a and took him out. Never went back to sleep.

Night three - up once at 3am

Night four - stay tuned

Daddy Daughter Dance

The last daddy daughter dance is in the books. She only tried 100 dresses and 5 pairs of shoes on for the occasion! Ended up with a cute dress from Belk and shoes she already had!

Drew, Kevin and the girls went to the club for dinner then over to the school for the big event - luau! Over the years they've opened it up to anyone to go and that kind of makes me sad - please don't hate me. It has always been daddy daughter and now boys go. They used to do a laser tag event for them. Listen, I can't complain since I don't volunteer for that stuff but ya know! The old tradition is gone and ugh! All good though!

Grady wanted to be in a pic!

Love!

Molly Anne had the best time!

Thursday Looks

I have a little of everything today for you!

ONE - these are the best "dressy" pants I've found. I wear them to work and wash/dry them. They have a thick waist band so flattering too. 30% off.

TWO - a good basic tee for your closet

THREE - I've mentioned these tanks before but in case you're looking for a new workout or hang out tank, try it!

FOUR - if I had this toiletry bag I know a 10 year old girl who would try to take it!

FIVE - always loving the flowy dresses

Meet Skiff

Meet Skiff! We picked him up a couple of hours away yesterday at WestBen Goldens, where we got Mills. Last weekend we picked him out and that was our special adventure. Today he is 8 weeks old! He was born on January 19th!

Honestly it has been so special. I'll have to tell yall the whole story soon! It has also brought up so many missing Mills memories! Ahhhh!!

We had been wanting to get another golden for a bit but didn't want to rush it. Definitely not a Mills replacement, instead a pup for the kids to grow up with that they got to be a part of since before he was born!

We are going to soak up every moment and love him so much!

Spring is Here

I say spring is here but next week it's going from 80 to 40 degrees! We have gotten a taste of warm weather in Charlotte and it's been glorious!

ONE - this look is perfecto

TWO - saw this top in person and love

THREE - I'm the worst at wanting to try new shoes because they all hurt my feet and I just stick to what I've always worn. These have memory foam and are $40 so maybe I'll try?!

FOUR - this skirt with any white top is so good

FIVE - I ordered Molly Anne a couple of dresses by the same designer as this one! Super cute

Mills Shadowboxes

We made shadowboxes last week to remember our Mills. We miss him so much. The kiddos will hang each of these in their rooms. xo

We do have some puppy news to share soon. It's weird because it is really making me miss Mills even more. But Molly Anne and Grady deserve a puppy to grow up with and we have a big void in our home without Mills.

Chat soon friends.

Pizza Night and Weekend

Molly Anne wanted a selfie as we left a new place for dinner called Coco's on Thursday night. Ha!

An evening walk after din!

This past week I replaced the battery in Grady's motorcycle. About 45 min in I thought I should have just bought a new bike but eventually I got it done and I'm so happy he can ride again! It's accomplishing fixing things around the house!

Friday night we hung at the playground and there were about 30 million kids. It was about 75 and sunny and the perfect night. We came home and Kevins fam came over for homemade pizzas in our pizza oven. And golf cart rides!

Saturday consisted of baseball, Kevin taking the kids + Greer out for lunch and sports connection, me playing tennis and then out for dinner at Brixx. The of course Sephora for the girlies.

Yesterday we had a special little adventure which I'll fill you all in on that soon. I am traveling for work this week..again. Had to get meals made for the kids and fruits and veggies prepped. Chat soon!
