First order of business on Friday - run Mills and take him to see the Girl Scouts in our neighborhood! He bought a few boxes just to support the girls! ;)
The goal of this weekend was to CHILL. And we did just that. Saturday night we got together with Kevin's cousins and their children.
Brunswick Stew and a Creamy Redfish soup were served with a delish salad. Crissy and Ron are chefs!
This group is so funny together. We watched old videos when Kevin and his cousins were young bucks.
Eeks blurry!
Everyone in this picture has the same last name! What fun it was to all be together!
Guard dog!
We had breakfast at Tupelo Honey Cafe on Sunday. Definitely good. The goat cheese grits...OMG! Kevin and I drove all over Charlotte looking at houses. He's evidently in the market for another rental. ;)
We hung with Kevin's brother and sister in law! Mills was in the yard playing from 10am - 6:30pm. He was in heaven.
And you know we had a big time shooting cans off the Lowes bucket! Brittany is a sharp shooter!
I am not.
All of our neighbors were outside all day too so we had a great time hanging out with them. We grilled some burgers and just hung out. I really needed this. They left early evening and I got my act together for this week.
Let the chaos commence!
Ah, what a sweet golden. We lost ours this past December. :( Loving the hunters outfit! :-)
ReplyDeleteLove your Hunters! What a perfect low-key weekend. I love busy weekends, but sometimes it's SO nice to have downtime after a crazy week.
ReplyDeleteI thought Brad was the only person to use the term 'young bucks'. LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteLove a low key weekend of hanging outside! This week it does not look like we'll be doing much of being outside with all of the rain. :(
