Five on Friday - Mom's Spaghetti & Swing & Swim with Nannie and Poppa

1.  Mom's Spaghetti Sauce that Kevin loves.  Here are the cast of characters plus Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, half an onion finely chopped, 2 bay leaves.  In the plastic bag are two pounds of cooked hamburger meat.  Simmer on low all day. I use my crock pot.  Note: this makes a lot. I usually freeze several containers. 

2.  My Dad put some hooks in our garage frame and hung Molly Anne's swing. She LOVES it.  We had been going to our neighborhood playground but now we don't have to!  

3.  I'm a night shower kinda girl. I literally can't go to bed without a shower.  It started when I was really young and continued by playing sports after school in high school. Hasn't stopped.  I like getting into clean sheets clean!  #random

4.  Mom and Dad scheduled their flight accordingly so they could come watch her swim lesson yesterday. Here we are on the way out the door!  She still is loving it!!!

5.  It really was nice for Kevin and I to get away for a few nights but the planning is crazy!  I'm thinking about doing a post on how I get things ready with MA before traveling. 

Puerto Rico

On Sunday we flew down to Puerto Rico!  These were the pictures from our room at the Ritz...amazing.  

The zika virus did scare me but I used the Off when we went outside. 

The first night we met up with Kevin's agent friends and went to Old San Juan for dinner.  It was so good to see our friends.  We've literally traveled the world with this group and I do think you get really close to those that you travel with.

On Monday the guys went deep sea fishing and Jessica and I hung out for brunch and pool time. Then the casino. Ha!

That night was the event and it was awesome. Good band, food (sea bass and short rib), drinks, lighting was cool etc. 

TMark is crazy. 

We were up way too late in the casino and lobby bar haha. 

Tuesday Kevin and I had breakfast at the hotel then went to the beach. 

And it started pouring. It was actually cool being under the umbrella while the storm passed. I mean we were in our bathing suits anyway so who cares if we got wet. 

We went back to Old San Juan and walked around but came back to the hotel quickly.  It was a gross day weather wise. 

Tuesday night we went with two other couples to BLT Steak in the hotel. So good. I got snapper. 

Kevin got a skirt steak special. 

Dirty gin martini with blue cheese olives. Yes. 

We told them it was Jessica's birthday ha. She was a good sport!

This morning we hit the beach for 30 min before we had to get on the bus to the airport.  

And now we are back with our girl!!!

Weekend Recap - Dan and Jacq Wedding

I love going in to get Molly Anne in the mornings.  She loves sleeping with her baby duck. 

We had a big day on Friday.  I took her to my friend Anni's house to get Dubose portraits done. 

I can't wait to see how they turned out!  

Took her to Ms. Beckys while I worked and met with our builder and then picked her up around 4 to head to the airport.  We stopped by the airport overlook where she had her snack while she watched the planes. She was mesmerized.  We will be going back!

My parents flew in for the weekend.  Mills was obviously going crazy. He lovessss them.  We got home in time to feed Molly Anne quickly and get her to bed.  We grilled burgers and veggies on the grill. I'm so glad the farmers market is back!  I love all of the fresh stuff!

Rise and Shine. I went in there Saturday morning and she was sitting up. Crazy. 

Of course we went to the mall for only about 45 minutes. We were busy and had a ton to do that day.

We headed to a wedding that afternoon at Morning Glory Farms for one of Kevin's bank buddy's.  It was a gorgeous day. 

We are so happy for them!
