Fall Sports Plan

Well, we've signed up for all of the things!

Molly Anne is going to play field hockey one day a week and tennis two days a week! She also wants to do a drama club at school and maybe some art or piano lessons. Everything except field hockey is super flexible which is amazing. No year round swim...she did it for three years and is done, which I'm fine with. I want her to be happy in what she's doing but exercise is required at this house!

Grady is playing on a challenge baseball team which is technically a travel team but it's all within 1.5 hours of Charlotte so not bad at all. He's also playing on a rec baseball team. So yes 4 days a week total. But he truly LOVES the game. He practices every day and is super into it.

We will see what they want to do come Winter sports. I foresee basketball for Molly Anne and flag football for Grady.

Grocery Fridge Refresh

I had been gone for 10 days and here is my grocery refresh! I didn't plan a ton of specific meals out of this because I just needed stuff for all three meals...but here are some things we will have:

1. salmon, broccoli and cilantro lime rice that I already had
2. beef enchiladas
3. lunch stuff for the kids
4. breakfast stuff too

Busy Weekend

We ended up having a ton going on this weekend. Mainly baseball. Ha! Between challenge and rec ball this Fall, we are gonna live at the field!

Friday Grady had practice then we came home and played with the boys next door - more baseball and roaming around the hood on bikes and golf carts!

Saturday Grady had more baseball and Kevin and MA went to watch Maggie cheer at her first middle school game!

She of course dressed for the occasion!

Then we flew to Connors party!

I came home and switched kids and took this girlie to get gel color for the first time! Queen!

We went to dinner at the club where they had a low country boil then hung around the hood. She took this pic of herself and she is so pretty. She has been soooo excited for school to start today!!

Hello Friday

Well, I've been a bit tied up this week and forgot to post my clothes finds yesterday! It's that end of summer/finding out teams/finding out teachers situation! Everyone is happy with all of those things which is a good thing!

We also had two new neighbors move in this week and another a month or so ago. So I grabbed everyone some Nothing Bundt Cakes and got those to them with notes.

Oh and work. Yes that too.

A delish summer meal. Hadn't done okra in the air fryer but highly recommend! And just sautéed shrimp with honey and garlic!

Got to play tennis early one morning this week!

Another meal from this week - salmon with this recipe, cilantro rice from a box and steamed broccoli. If you haven't tried cooking salmon in your air fryer and with that recipe you're missing out!

Orioles Game

Soooo our special day! My parents got Grady tickets to the Orioles game for his birthday and boy did we have a blast! Dad, the kids and I rolled up there Thursday morning for an early afternoon game. It was perfect and our seats were awesome righty behind the home plate and the dugout. A two hour rain delay resulted in open seating and we were the seats right next to the Orioles dugout. Grady was stoked! He was taking it all in! We stayed until the end and watched them beat the Seattle Mariners 5-3!

Dad got him a ball at the team store! And he and Molly Anne also got another 3 balls from the dugout that had been used in the game! Oh and bubble gum! It was awesome!

Ocean City Day

Last Wednesday I took the kids to Ocean City which is about 45 minutes from where I grew up. We did alllll of the things!

Maryland

We are back! I've been gone since August 8th. First we went to Ocean Isle then up to my parents in Maryland. We had a really great week with them and got to have a super fun special day that I will recap! In the meantime, here are some to share!
