Getting married April 6, 2013. Cool-ish weather here in Charlotte. Thick hair. Semi long. Veil to be worn for ceremony only.
I have had a previous situation with my hair exploding out of an up-do because I have so much of it. A rubber band is the best way to start an up-do for me. Unsure of #2 working because of this. But I love it! Ahhhhh!

Which should I choose?

My vote is #2 ... so classically beautiful! I had an updo for our wedding and I was so happy I did -- I didn't have to worry once about my hair falling flat!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely #2!!
ReplyDeleteI like #2 also! :)
ReplyDeleteLove #2--your hair will look gorgeous in that updo!
ReplyDeleteI've always heard you want to look like yourself on your wedding day, so not to do your hair & makeup to an extreme of what you normally do. (I mean, obviously you wear more makeup than normal for pics!) I love #5!! It'd be gorgeous with and without a veil! But if you're afraid of it falling maybe go for an undo? I did half up/half down and my hair fell some, but I still loved it in every picture!!
ReplyDeleteI like hair down because then with no veil on it doesn't look like you have very little hair. I also loved Kate Middleton with her hair down for the royal wedding. So I vote for either 1 or 5! So exciting!
ReplyDeleteI like #3 but #5 looks more like your style.
ReplyDeleteFirst of all - so great to see you last night!
ReplyDeleteSecondly - #1 and 5 are my favorites here. I wore my hair up, but only because I had a July wedding in VA with an outdoor reception. There's no way my hair would have looked nice by the end of the wedding, but I think it would be perfect for an April wedding here!
Love love #5!!
ReplyDeleteI like #1 best (#5 is similar, but for some reason, I don't like it as much). My next favorite is #2.
ReplyDeleteI'll be getting married in June, but I'm pretty sure I'll be wearing my hair down. I'll also be wearing a veil only for the ceremony, then just a flower or something after that.

I'm wearing my hair very similar to #5 but a little curlier. I really love #2 or 3 for you. So beautiful and classic and both would look fabulous with your hair color!!
ReplyDeleteI'm going to say #4 or #3. I've always loved the low chignon look. You'll want it off your neck I'm going to guess. And if it's up, it's up and you won't have to worry about how it looks all night. That's my thought. :) You'll look beautiful no matter what though.
ReplyDeleteIf you usually wear your hair up go for something that puts it all up, but if you usually wear it down go for something that is either all down or half up half down. Trust me.... I regret how my hair looked! xo
ReplyDelete#4--LOVE IT!!!
