Not much to report this week. Been cranking out work etc. per usual.
ONE - Grady had growing pains for the first time one night this week. He is familiar with them because Molly Anne has gotten them for years and it's inconsolable pain. The next morning he woke up and said, "Mama please measure me to see how tall I have gotten!" It was precious. Come to find out - they've both grown almost an inch in 6 weeks!
TWO - I have a pretty good start on Christmas shopping. I swear my list gets longer every year and quite frankly it's ridiculous. I'm kind of on the train of let's just all go somewhere haha! I buy SOOO many gifts every month and then November and December are like new extreme. It's NUTS!
THREE - had lunch with one of my old neighbors one day this week then we walked into a couple of shops afterwards. It was so joyful. Lunching may be my thing. It's a great way to catch up with girlfriends.
FOUR - Molly Anne is getting hit hard with school stuff. She turned in a big project this week for social studies - it was her campaign to be the Mayor of her school. In a couple of weeks, she has AIG testing for the Academically or Intellectually Gifted. We'll see how that shakes out. I'm happy with her doing her best whether that's in regular classes or the AIG. Her teacher this year is a GEM yall. She is the sweetest person, role model and a solid teacher. I'm incredibly thankful for the wonderful year that she is having.
FIVE - I got on the Peloton bike this week for the first time in way too long. I had gotten bored of riding, then my toe has a cyst in it and pedaling really irritated it. I think that's better but I hadn't gotten my zest back for riding yet. Well, maybe this 20 min easy ride may have helped my umph for getting back on this winter when I can't walk outside as much. Who knows, we'll see.
Happy weekend. We have some fun plans that I'll tell you about on Monday!
Poor Grady - an inch in 6 weeks is WILD!! The Christmas shopping is non stop this year, just so many people to grab something for outside of our core family.
ReplyDeleteSo, I am telling you - you need the Peloton treadmill. It is a game changer!!
