It seems like everyone on earth other than my Dad and a couple others think this baby is a boy! Well let's see what the tails say. I stole this from my girl Ally!
Morning Sickness
So if you have the nausea, that means girl? I did have nausea for the first 14 weeks but it wasn't TERRIBLE. Everything I read just said to eat when you started feeling sick so I did. And for the record - it ain't morning sickness - it's all day sickness. GIRL.
Ring Test
Pencil test and ring test both said BOY.
Baby's Heart Rate
Supposedly if it's more than 140, it's a girl and less than 140 it's a BOY. Ours was high at the beginning but then it became only in the 130s! For the record - the ultrasound techs have all told me, there is no coorelation.
Acne
They say girls steal your beauty and if it's a GIRL she has definitely been stealing mine. I had to ask the dermatologist for something safe to put on my skin to help it! I only had a lot of trouble with this the first trimester.
Sleep
If you sleep on your left side, it's a boy. Sleep on your right side, it's a girl.
I sleep on both sides but probably more left so BOY.
Food Cravings
Salty cravings mean boy and sweet cravings mean girl. All I want are sweets so GIRL.

My Gut Feeling
I honestly do not know! Some days I think GIRL and some days I think BOY. It will be fun finding out after 40 weeks of guessing, that's for sure!

I'm expecting my first in October and I felt it in my bones that it was a girl, all my friends and family thought it was a girl and all the old wives tales and the Chinese gender chart said girl - nope, it's a boy! It was fun to look at all that stuff though :) Enjoy your last couple of weeks!

ReplyDeleteI can never guess - couldn't even guess for my own - but, when you hear what it is, all will feel right in the world! I will say, with all of those tests, most of my answers were boy....and....

ReplyDeleteI LOVE this! I am thinking ours is a girl currently and every time I think it, I could just as easily be talked into the fact that it's a boy! TJ and I just try and imagine our surprise-boy or girl-when baby arrives! I am so excited for you and Kevin to meet your perfect, precious son or daughter! Xoxoxo😘

It nearly killed me to wait until 20 weeks, so kudos to you. :) I was convinced that we were going to have a boy because I didn't have morning sickness, but now it looks like we're having a girl, so what do you know?! I'm sure you can't wait to find out soon!
