Thought it'd be fun to write some things down since we've been in our new house for 5 years. We started building it in December 2016 and moved in December 2017.
What do we love? What do we wish we had done differently? Soooo many big decisions as we built it so it's interesting to look back and see what means the most now after living here for awhile.
1. 2 dishwashers
2. Upstairs washer and dryer
3. Downstairs stackable washer and dryer in the mudroom
4. Instant hot water at the kitchen sink
5. How my kitchen sink faces the main room and I can look left to our backyard where the kids play.
6. Very big covered back porch - we LOVE this space
Things I'd Change:
1. Size of our laundry room - way too small for our house/neighborhood.
2. Bigger garages - depth and width (Kevin complaint)
3. Electrical outlets under every window for Christmas window lights
4. Wish we had a person door to our driveway and not just garage doors.
