Kevin and I have a tropical trip coming up and I need a bathing suit or two. Post Molly Anne requires one piece, dark color and it hopefully hides EVERYTHING!
I saw this Tory Burch one on Nordstrom's website and love it. It's pretty expensive so I'm going keep looking for something under $100 but I really like it for some reason! Thought I'd share.
Where is your go to swimsuit place? I love La Blanca from Nordstrom as well and one of their suits is sitting in my shopping cart.
Love that bathing suit and yay for an upcoming vacation! I love J.Crew's bathing suits. I bought two about six years ago (maybe more) and they have held up great. I even was able to wear one of them 7 months pregnant.
ReplyDeleteI bit the bullet last year and went to Everything But Water in Southpark. Slathered on the self tanner the day before, left Freddy with Daddy, ready to try on a bunch of stuff. Tried on a least a dozen suits, and ended up finding several that I liked and left with two. It was intimidating and I knew I wouldn't love what was staring at me in the mirror, but they have so many options and coordinating coverups which I like! I can now definitely tell a difference between a pricier suit and cheapy suits from Target and Old Navy - the material is so much more flattering. Now if they only had a suit that could camoflauge my thighs.....
ReplyDeleteSo - I love that suit! I'm going to Mexico in May and I have the most expensive one piece bathing suit just sitting in my closet as inspiration (because even a one piece is too revealing right now!!)....but my point here is.....I think a really good bathing suit is worth the money. Go try that beauty on and if you feel good - treat yourself!
ReplyDeleteI'm only wearing one pieces this summer too. Between a flabby post baby stomach and my lingering linea negra I will spare everyone my stomach on the beach! Love that one peice! Check out La Blanca too. They make great bathing suits and they aren't too expensive.
ReplyDeleteI just ordered a La Blanca one this weekend! Hoping it's a good fit! After M was born I got one from Athleta and one from Tommy Bahama. Both are two pieces (tankini!) and I've loved both.
ReplyDeleteI really like Lands End suits.
ReplyDeleteDitto the JCrew comment. Their suits hold up really well!
ReplyDeleteThat is cute!! I also love her solid wrap one-piece right now!
ReplyDeleteLa Blanca is one of my favorites! I've also recently started shopping Tommy Bahama at Nordstrom and have found that the quality is amazing!
