Have yall had these whole wheat bagel thins yet? At 110 calories each and still very filling they are perfect for a quick breakfast! I just slap on some light cream cheese and I'm out the door. Try 'em next time you see them at the store!
On Sunday night we got home and had a million things to put away after our mini trip to my brother and SIL's. We wanted something quick and easy for dinner but healthy too.
I had some frozen tilapia so I defrosted that and stuck it in the oven for less than 10 minutes (after seasoning it with lemon juice, salt and pepper).
We made some fish tacos. Oh and we had also made The Pioneer Woman's Restaurant Style Salsa. Let me tell ya - if you haven't made this yet - you're missing out. It is fantastic! Oh and instead of the sugar it calls for, I use Splenda and it tastes just as great.
We had lots of toppings so in went the fish, lettuce, cheese, avocado and the salsa. Kevin probably put hot sauce on his, as he does with everything!
We each had two and for lunch the next day as well!
Delish dinner that kinda cleaned out the fridge and was super quick to make! Next time we're into tacos, we're going to try shrimp!
I just blogged about Bagel Thins this morning too. Next time you should try the Laughing Cow cheese with them... it is very yummy!
ReplyDeleteI tried the Tilipia tacos once and they didn't turn out. We totally threw them away. Not sure... :(
