Five on Friday

Linking up with April and Christina!

ONE:
Sarah invited some of us to dinner at her home and it was stunning....like out of a magazine stunning!  Look at her how gorgeous her table is set and her wallpaper...swoon!  We all had the best time chit chatting and would you believe that no wine was consumed?  Just good old fashioned girl talk with very sweet girlfriends!

TWO:
Tuesday the 7th was an extremely special day.  My bestest had her baby boy!  They named him Brooks Holden.  Adorable right?!  We love him already and I can't wait to meet him on Saturday!

THREE:
Unfortunately I couldn't be in Raleigh for the birth of Brooks but I did get to go on a fun work trip to West Virginia and Kentucky.  It was COLD.  As in 4 degrees.  That may not be cold for some of you but it was for us!

FOUR:
They all make fun of me for my blog....well Jodie doesn't but the guys do!  So they said "take our picture and put it on your blog."  Here it is!!!  We were in Pikeville, Kentucky walking to dinner.  The University's mascot is the bear so they are all over town.  The four of us always have a good time together...never feels like work!  PS - Hi Jodie! ;) (She's a regular reader!)

FIVE:
I got home on Thursday earlier than we thought so I got the opportunity to take Mills on a trot through our neighborhood.  This is his favorite thing everrrr to do!  And mine too!  It was a perfect day for it.

Happy Friday friends!

  1. You have such a beautiful dog! Glad to see I'm not the only only one who gets made fun of for having a blog. I swear nonbloggers just don't get it!

  3. OOPS, duplicate comment! Yay, I had the best time. I too was shocked that no one drank the wine! (well, not me and April obviously!) but I don't think I have ever hosted a girls night without lots of wine drinking :) That baby is the sweetest! XO

  4. No wine? Did you have beer? ;)

My friends and cousins do the same thing with my blog! They always call me "Tea Time" and mock me all the time. I totally love it, but I'm glad I'm not the only one!

  7. 4 degrees is cold everywhere! It's just that here we're equipped for those kinds of temperatures. My winter coat is a sleeping bag with a hood and sleeves.
