Wedding Wednesday - Stationery

When it comes to stationery for our wedding, we're going with the ole classic ecru paper with raised print. Mom and I searched through tons of Crane and Company and William Arthur books. We think the traditional look seems most right for us.  Below is not what we have chosen, you all know I can't give those details away yet!
When we went to Salutations in south Charlotte, we were blown away by their customer service and their knowledge.  They even gave me a set of personalized stationery just for coming in to talk with them and then of course we received a sweet thank you note.  It was simply a great experience.  Thank you to Katie for recommending.  I would send anyone to Salutations!

When we were there, we realized just how many paper products you can get made for your wedding - save the dates, seating cards, menus, programs, the whole sha-bang.  It's crazy!

So did you all go traditional or a little more fun for your wedding invite?  Or what would you do if you were getting married tomorrow?

(No they did not pay me to write this, these are my own opinions)

  1. I'm so glad that you had a wonderful experience at Salutations! The ladies there are just THE BEST. WE went traditional with our invite (Crane) and then had fun with the Save the Dates, Programs, Menus, etc. It was fun to do both & played to both sides of my personality!

  4. I adore paper and this is one of the things I am most looking forward to choosing one day. I have a feeling my wedding will be on the more vintage/romantic side or classically preppy, so I envision soft pastels and gorgeous script or stripes or polka dots with a bolder font. I do think you simply can't go wrong with traditional! Love this sample. ;)

  5. I LOVE traditional ecru paper with black thermography! I went the classic route as well and I am so glad I did because lots of friends/family decided to gift our invitation back in some decorative fashion, whether it was framed or chopped up inside a christmas ornament. :)

With a timeless option, you can hang it somewhere in your house after the wedding and it will always match your decor.

Salutations is AH-MAZING!!! Love that place!

  7. I love William Arthur paper! In fact, my wedding invitations are from WA paper, and I can't wait to see them come in the mail next week! Our wedding is super traditional, and is black tie. I love the classic feel!

  10. I have a feeling I'll probably go the more traditional route, but maybe with a little pop of fun!

  12. I love love love stationary/invitations. We are splurging on this because I just am so fond of the one that I found. Paper can get expensive really quickly! Ours are simple with just the right amount of nautical flare. And I love them!

    xoxo.
