Weekend - Run, Birthday Party and Babies

On Friday after work I headed down to Kevin's hometown and we met his parents, brother and SIL for chinese.  After dinner, we went to his brother and SIL's house to see their nursery for their sweet baby who is due to arrive in a week and a half.  Can't wait!  Then we went over to his parents and spent some time with them.  His Mama and I talked wedding most of the time and that was very fun!

Saturday morning early Tara and I set out for an 8.5 mile run and boy was that nice to get done.  It actually went by pretty quickly and it was good to get some mileage in.  I hadn't done that since August so I'm glad to be getting back up there.

I ran some errands that afternoon and Kevin met up with some high school friends.  I ended up picking him up around 8pm so we could go back uptown for a birthday party at the Ritz for one of my co-workers.  We walked into Phil's (after a stop at Mortimers and Stool Pigeons) and it was hilarious the number of people Kevin and I knew in there....all different groups of friends!  Love it when that happens!  The night ended way too late so Sunday morning came early.
Ended up finding them at Phils.

I made some meals for a couple families who just had babies and then went to deliver them yesterday afternoon and evening.  Pioneer Woman's Chicken Spaghetti (recipe here) and a salad never disappoint.  Loved spending more time with Kim and Jeff's baby Jack.

...and meeting Adelaide who is Josh and Steph's baby.  Josh was one of my best guy friends from college and thankfully he and Steph live in Charlotte!  What a joy it was to meet their blessing.  She is adorable and they are the cutest parents!

Hope you all had a nice weekend!
