(Obviously it's exactly what you want, so that's an advantage, but I'm just curious if it is a "good deal" ;) we are outgrowing our home and I wonder if we'd enjoy the process of getting exactly what we want. It seems like there aren't a lot of options remaining for lots in Greensboro though. amandahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00149271294595447912noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1709642354094596351.post-22960319685633502802017-07-12T16:49:45.902-04:002017-07-12T16:49:45.902-04:00Dang girl that is a quick trip sounds like more ti...Dang girl that is a quick trip sounds like more time in the air than in Utah. At least our weather wasn't too hot and no humidity like east coast. You did a fab job explaining all of this!!! It is so interesting! I love all your house updates, keep them coming! And of course, I can't wait to see the finished product!!!Mindyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02816110503264086800noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1709642354094596351.post-41095036678586766812017-07-12T13:17:07.170-04:002017-07-12T13:17:07.170-04:00This is so interesting! My parents built their own house, but my dad drew up the plans and then he literally built the house, so it was a completely different experience (and took a lot longer, of course!). My brother and sister-in-law just bought a lot and are working on their plans right now. Figuring out exactly what you want and making it come to life can be difficult! I can't wait to see your finished home. I know it is going to be gorgeous, and it's so neat that you have everything documented along the way. :)Lesliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06216194365319691319noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1709642354094596351.post-247021136733442792017-07-12T12:02:01.168-04:002017-07-12T12:02:01.168-04:00I love your house updates!

We didn't get much choice in options but for 10 acres in Northern Virginia at the price we paid it was good. Luckily we could do the floors & cabinets & countertops. But would have loved to do full custom. We set up a trail cam to take photos so it was fun at the end to have a video of it being made. We visited it every few days to keep an eye on construction. Love seeing yours come together! erin - heart in irelandhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10633678379509475658noreply@blogger.com
