And they are starting to show it. It's sad in a way, but I have to keep reminding myself that they are still here, and we should enjoy all of the time we have with them!
Glad your parents are doing so well with both of their recent surgeries!roxhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17262055982133436571noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1709642354094596351.post-66181963246107788832016-07-15T10:38:33.524-04:002016-07-15T10:38:33.524-04:00It takes a village, and you sure seem to have a gr...It takes a village, and you sure seem to have a great one! I'm sure your parents were so happy and comforted to have you there with them. And it's such awesome news that your dad was up and on the move so soon after surgery. Best wishes for quick healing to both of your parents!Katiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05028865840502426128noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1709642354094596351.post-26490697217886265122016-07-14T21:34:19.203-04:002016-07-14T21:34:19.203-04:00I'm so glad both parents are doing better!! Your Mom is the cutest thing! And, it's so nice to hear stories about people helping each other out these days. Both of your parents are on the road to healing and recovery. They are so blessed to have these fabulous friends to help and they have one wonderful daughter! Also Kevin too. I have geriatric parents as well and need to travel 4-5 hours to visit and cannot do this without the love and support of my husband. We all share in the bounty of values our parents have taught their children about how to love-give and to always honor our parents---- ( our children are watching and learning from these precious examples). Best wishes of good healing to your Mom and Dad.C.https://www.blogger.com/profile/05939293659268410049noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1709642354094596351.post-8469111477540416982016-07-14T14:27:30.607-04:002016-07-14T14:27:30.607-04:00Glad they are both on the up and up! It was wonderful to hear of all the meals, rides, and chores done for them before we made it up to visit (I'm a only child too). I'm so glad his recovery is going well. Hope those teeth broke through for MA too!Kristen [Playground Prepster]https://www.blogger.com/profile/17577071697448069754noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1709642354094596351.post-57188013109287260232016-07-14T11:27:10.799-04:002016-07-14T11:27:10.799-04:00My mom has had both of her hips replaced, but I wa...My mom has had both of her hips replaced, but I was only able to go home for the second surgery. So glad you could be with your parents during this time, and that they have good friends. It is also great that your dad is recovering well. They do amazing things these days :) Its also times like that when you find out who your true friends are. So nice that your parents' neighbors are looking out for them!

Enjoy the rest of your week!!Ashley Wisselhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01472005212169368721noreply@blogger.com
