On Friday night our plans got changed at the last minute so we headed over to DBs and our good friends Regina and Jeff were there. That was a great surprise. We hung with them then headed to our old neighbors house in the hood.
Oh and I got our Christmas lights put on for outside! I love how it looks at Christmas!
Saturday morning Grady and I ran to PopUp Bagels and grabbed some to bring home for breakfast. SO good. The pickle cream cheese was a bit spicy but it was all delish.
Molly Anne and I went to the Southern Women's Christmas Show (we only stayed for a couple of hours...so many people!) then to Erin McDermott's cute shop where she made a charm bracelet.
That evening she had a birthday party and we celebrated our nieces birthday. Grady lost a tooth on the way home!
Sunday was church, Costco for Thanksgiving day treats and out for dinner at a sushi/chinese/thai place nearby. We are ready for a short school week!! I have a list of things I'm going to buy on Black Friday online too. Highly recommend thinking now and making a list!! I always forget stuff then grrrr when I have to pay more!
ONE - I loveeee this hand towel for a gift or in my half bath! Festive and cheery!
TWO - these glass cut candle holders look so good on a mantle or a table. I am kind of in the collecting mode on them!
THREE - the lip oil from yesterday! One tube is expensive but it lasts for a really long time!
FOUR - someone gave this fancy thing to me recently and I always forget how great of gifts diffusers are! This is the best smell for this time of year.
FIVE - and a fun sweatshirt!
My birthday was on Monday. That morning Kevin found out that he was supposed to get me a gift from Grady to give me. Grady was SO sad he didn't have anything to give me. I asked Molly Anne what it was and he told Kevin too. I said Kevin I can get that during lunch at work today and bring it home wrapped. So that's what I did.
Grady was SO happy that 'Kevin had gotten it for me' for him to give to me. It was soooooo sweet. He was like, "guess what Mama, Daddy got me the gift for you!" This was him when he was about to give it to me. I love his heart! 
The things we do for our children!! ;) PS the lady Amanda at Nordstrom was soooo sweet about it and gave me some extra things for grady to tuck I to the gift! ;)
On Friday night Grady had his end of season baseball party at Spare Time in Pineville so he and i went there and Kevin took Molly Anne out to dinner at Porters House. Fancy!
Oh and she got a hair cut! Her first layers! She has the best hair and hair color - all natural!
Ole Grady and I went to Showmars while they had their steak!!
Saturday morning Molly Anne and I did a ton of Christmas shopping at a few local shops in town. It was great to get so much of my list knocked out.
Saturday afternoon Grady had a birthday party and she had basketball evaluations. That night we went out with our friends Regina, Jeff, Gary and Lisa to Oshen for sushi! It was delish!
On Sunday we headed to church and then had brunch at Burtons. That place is so good and has the best kids meals!
Sunday evening we had some friends over for an easy dinner. Complete with kids running everywhere, a fire and a bunch of good butchers market food! Good times!

ONE - this sweatshirt was the prettiest color and soooo soft! 
TWO - such a great smelling candle for the holiday season - fresh balsam and cedarwood!
and I'm still obsessed with this one that my friend gave me last year!
THREE - cutest tree glasses! They also have these in pink which are adorbs. 
FOUR - slip hair ties in this little packaging would be a welcomed gift for any 20-50 year old gal on your list!
FIVE - maybe next time i can get the shirt off the rack and take a better picture?! This is such a flattering style of shirt and looks good tucked in or not.
SIX - one more - I saw this bow bowl and thought it was such a fun hostess gift. Kinda pricey but maybe you're going to a couples party and need a little something more than a candle?
1. Order your Christmas card stamps from usps now while they have the cute designs! You have to search for Holiday when you're on the stamps page to find the entire selection!
2. I've started a list of things I'm going to buy on Black Friday so I don't have a brain freeze and forget what I need to get on sale.
3. Yesterday while the kids were off, they got out some Christmas decor in their room. A few years ago I instituted one bin per kid room and they're labeled "Grady Christmas" "Molly Anne Christmas." The bins live with all of the other Christmas junk in our attic but I plop each one down in their rooms and their short tree and they decorate their own rooms. It's a big win in my book and their same decor comes out each year. The light up tree they made one year. A hobby lobby tree they each got one year. Etc etc. Ta da!
Grady got his first baseball ring for 7u challenge! He was soooo excited and def thinks it's real gold, diamonds and sapphire. I have the cutest video of him saying, "they're real diamonds!!!" I'm so proud of allll of the hard work he put in this year!
We finally had a weekend off of baseball and were able to get to the beach. Coming over the bridge on Friday evening.

Headed to Maria's for dinner and Spilt Milk for ice cream. I even ate ice cream which I never do! I always prefer popcorn!
Grady and Kevin went fishing with our neighbor on Saturday. Molly Anne and I shopped and got our nails done. We went everywhere and it was so fun!
Alllll of the nail art - hearts, bows, plaid, chrome and cheetah print. Molly Anne was THRILLED with a new nail place we found in Shallotte! 10 year old nails here we go!

Molly Anne and I walked at the east end on Sunday morning while the boys fished off the dock. Sooo pretty down there.
Back to the hood and grady loving life playing football with a bunch of neighborhood dudes. Love it for him.

FOUR - bowls like this make me so happy to have cottage cheese in, put a quick appetizer in, anything! Fun gift that you would necessarily buy yourself $18 for 2!
FIVE - my neighbor let me try one of these this past weekend and it worked - no headache! You take it before you have some drinks and no hangover the next day. It doesn't taste bad. And I'm not a very big "take anything" kind of person but this was legit. We ordered a pack!
